Junk In The Trunk

I have been using Junk In the Trunk since 2005, they are friendly, have excellent service and are very reasonable. I highly recommend them. Spring clean up is a breeze when you have someone to cart it all away with no fuss or muss.i

I've used Junk in the Trunk twice, once for a big job in Arlington and once for a smaller job in Alexandria. They were terrific. They arrived on time and communicated well. They gave me useful estimates before they started, and wound up under the estimate in the second job, even though they had to do quite a bit of work to disassemble a cabinet before they could move it. After they were able to donate items from my place, they sent me a receipt I can use for taxes.

I'll definitely be using Junk in the Trunk again!

Awesome experience. I needed to get rid of a giant sectional sofa and other junk. They were on time and removed all items quickly. Frank was really responsive and provided me with updated quotes as I added on new things I needed to toss out. They wore masks and followed COVID guidelines, which I really appreciated. I'd been procrastinating getting someone in here because I didn't want to go through the hassle. I wish I would've emailed this place sooner!! Highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again in the future.

Frank is the best! Flexible availability and great pricing. We had all sorts of large, heavy, and irregular items left by the previous homeowners and he helped us get all of it out of our home and yard. I can't recommend him more!

Highly recommend Junk in the Trunk.

I had a collection of random household and yard items piled up which needed to be removed. Some items were too big or too heavy for me to handle. I got several quotes, and JITT was the lowest. In addition, Frank was quite prompt in his reply, and clear in communicating. We set up a time for the removal. Frank communicated clearly leading up to the appointment and also texted to let me know when they were on their way to my house.

Working with Frank was perhaps the easiest and most satisfying customer experience I can remember. Seriously. As others have written, Frank is responsive, he shows up when he says he will, his prices are totally reasonable, he and his colleague hauled our junk away AND they swept the garage. Who does that? I plan to use them on a regular basis. I never write YELP reviews, but working with them was such a good experience that I want to help Frank become as successful as he can be.

Very easy to work with. Pricing explained simply. Frank showed up early, gave me an accurate estimate, and hauled away what I had. Recommended.

I've now used them 6 times and they've always been responsive and customer-centric. This last time they actually removed the old air conditioners from the windows before taking them away, and it wasn't easy because they were screwed in. They went way above and beyond on that one. They are easily the least expensive junk removal service in the area and I would be they also provide the best customer service too. I'm sure I'll be using them again as I continue to clean out my mom's house.

Jiunk In the Trunk was a joy to work with. Scheduling was easy, charges estimated up-front, and Frank's three man crew arrived at the scheduled hour. The team was careful not to mark my walls as they carried some large pieces of furniture out. In sum, an excellent experience!

Couldn't recommend JITT any more. I requested a quote via email on a Sunday night, and Monday 6:30AM I got a reply from Frank. He said he'd be able to pick up my items by 11AM the same day. Frank was extremely communicative and flexible. Having just gone through the stress of moving this weekend, it was a relief to have JITT help get rid of the last headaches so quickly!

They did a nice job for a nice price and were friendly and courteous to boot. I like that they donate or recycle things whenever possible, though I'm not sure if it was possible for any of my junk items. They were punctual and easy to coordinate with. Made sure they got everything we wanted out before they headed off. We had a relatively small job perhaps, so I can only speak to that, but I would use them again.

Frank (the owner), Patrick, and Francis arrived on time, were so friendly, efficient and swept our entire garage after removing a full truck of our demolished kitchen and other household goods--they were professional, quick and very competitive in pricing (and I shopped)--Frank returned my call personally and responded to texts (no 800 # and impersonal distant scheduler). This is a local business that offers a great service. Would hire many times over.

What a wonderful business! Frank and his crew were prompt, respectful and very nice. They even swept up my balcony and patio after moving. Price was very reasonable. What a joy working with such a nice, socially conscious company. Highly recommend them.

They responded quickly to my email request and provided prompt service at an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely be using them for future services!

I was moving from DC to Seattle, WA and was under the gun to get the DC house cleaned out for incoming renters. I was able to book Junk in the Trunk on short notice to clear out unwanted furniture, clothing, etc. from multiple floors plus an attic. They were on time, brought an appropriately sized crew and did a great job. They even volunteered to take some items I had placed at the curb that DC city trash pickkup had ignored. Very satisfied and I highly recommend them.
