Services
We are a private community located on 52 forested acres of land on Big Mountain. Water and sewer are provided for and managed on site. We have a 210,000 gallon water tank fed by two wells located on the property. It serves the entire Village with water supply and we maintain a Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Ptarmigan Village is a quiet community, nestled in a cedar forest, on the slope of The Big Mountain. We have a new pool building that includes an indoor salt water swimming pool, a large outdoor hot tub and a dry sauna. Next to the pool building is a playground for children. In summer, our outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing or you can take a drive down to our beach on Whitefish Lake where you can take a swim and revel in a gorgeous sunset.

Condo we rented was dated and needs a good cleaning. Beautiful and quiet location with a great indoor pool. Located just below the ski resort base area and only about 45 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. I'd be more selective in the condo choice next time but would still stay in the community.

This is my 3rd stay in Ptarm and by far my least favorite. Literally every piece of furniture is broken in some way and the main couch, ya pull up the cushions and there's food all over in there! 🤮 No wifi, even tho on the booking site it clearly stated there was. No extra toilet paper, no first aid kit. The money that my friends and I just spent for a week's stay could easily be used to fix things up a bit. AVOID BUILDING NUMBER 122 !!!!

Really loved our condo but you should allow a little leniency on your hot tub hours. It took us forever to find and then the code we were given did not work. Your tub boy kicked us out at 10:01pm promptly and was very rude about it. I have stayed in many hotels and condo complexes before where they have always let people stay in hot tub as long as they were being respectful of noise and other residents. Probably won’t stay again....

Stayed here with some friends and bought a weekend past to the ski hill perfect location for beating the morning Rush, all ready half way up big mountain road. The village also has a pool, hot tub and sauna to relax in the hot tub is closed Mondays for cleaning witch is good to see that there maintaining every thing there is also a fire wood shack with an axe. We also order things from the United States to this location and drive down from canada for it

This condo was just as advertised. They do warn you about lots of steps and there are indeed LOTS of them. When you walk in the door you walk directly into the first bedroom that has 2 single beds. Another bedroom (that has a door) is also there with a queen. There is a bathroom on this first level. Up the very narrow spiral stairway to the living room and kitchen with table. This is a nice area with a front deck and back deck. The back deck is right in the woods, very lovely, with a picnic table on the deck. The front deck has a few chairs and it was nice sitting in both areas. The second bathroom
