Have a separate meet & greet with our teacher, Kate Pilon in upstairs studio at 6:00 and enjoy a small introductory class! Bring your ballet clothes/shoes, skirt, yoga pants and tank top - whatever you have. Already a student? Bring a friend who is interested in taking ballet with us. The teen/adult classes are packed with good spirit, great exercise, laughs and the beauty of ballet.

Services
It is the purpose of Brighton School of Ballet to provide the means for our dancers to develop to their fullest potential, providing proper training & discipline, encouragement, attention, and development of artistic expression. We are a school based upon a Christian foundation, upholding an atmosphere where there is the freedom for dance to be both a physical and spiritual expression of the individual dancer.
NUTCRACKER: Our annual full length Nutcracker ballet has been a favorite in the community since 1986. Students are selected for roles, starting at Beginner Ballet I (typically age 7) through advanced and adult. Two or three performances are staged in December at the beautiful Brighton Center for Performing Arts Theater.
Fountain Dance Ministry is a select group of highly trained dancers who use their gifts to worship and glorify God, while ministering to others. FDM peforms in the community by invitation to churches, women's events & retreats, schools, nursing homes, festivals and a variety of other venues. Our teaching syllabus is based in the Russian Method and provides the basis for each of our levels to progress consistently from year to year. As detailed below, each tier provides a solid framework that builds from our youth in Primary Levels, to a more academic approach in Beginner Levels, and then up to our Upper training, which gears the students towards the pre-professional level.
We are now offering offering a full lyrical dance program for beginner through advanced dancers. Lyrical movement is very similar to contemporary ballet, in that students have the opportunity to use their ballet technique and artistry to 'tell a story' with their movement.
A mix of Contemporary Christian and moral secular music is used in class as a opportunity for the students to deepen self expression and experience dance as a form of worship and ministry.Lyrical Classes will be performing in our Presentation Day Performance at the end of the year.
