Dr. Creighton Gallagher was born and raised in Topeka. Growing up, he enjoyed athletics and played football, basketball, and baseball during high school. Dr. Gallagher attended Kansas State University for his undergraduate degree before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

I recently had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Gallagher, and like every other experience I’ve had with him and his team, this one was great. The process was quick, painless, and smooth. Dr. Gallagher always makes sure to inform his patients of all available options, and which one is best suited for them. I would recommend him to anyone seeking dental work, or even just a quick check up or cleaning.

Dr. Gallagher and his staff put me at ease with my dental anxiety. Friendly doctor....friendly staff. And pain free! I needed some fillings and they used a numbing gel before injecting the anesthesia. I didn't feel a thing. I also like the private rooms with the TV's on ceiling. Nice touch. Highly recommend!

I just recently moved to Overland Park, KS and was looking for a dentist. After reading reviews, I selected Overland Park Family Dental. I am really glad I did. The office was clean, super friendly, and took great care of me explaining everything. Dr. Gallagher was very patient and made me feel at ease while I was there. Dr. Gallagher did a great job with a couple of fillings that I needed to get replaced. Everything was quick and painless and the fillings feel great!
I usually see Cassie for cleanings and she does a great job and is super friendly! When I went in this time Jill was available for the time I needed and was very impressed with how thorough she was - both super excellent hygienists!
The front desk really does everything in their power to work with insurance to make patients lives easier as well. I love the updated technology they use which makes me comfortable that nothing gets missed. I definitely

Staff are kind, respectful, and welcoming. My appointment took a reasonable amount of time; I didn't wait long at any point. I was impressed with the depth and attention to detail of their standard practices, which included not just radiology, but documenting images and measurements of all teeth as a baseline for future changes. Everyone took my concerns into consideration and spoke to me in understandable terms, but also didn't act like I hadn't finished 5th grade. I have found my dental home!

Dr Gallagher is very thorough and clear about each step of each procedure. He is very engaging with the patient and provides an atmosphere of comfort and understanding as well as his team. Gail is very informative and will keep you updated regularly from appointment reminders to billing.
The staff focuses on being friendly as well as providing a high level of patient care.
I would recommend family to friends to visit and experience something different than the normal dentist visit.
