Established in 2007, GSE specializes in Geotechnical, Structural, and Environmental Engineering; as well as Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Services.

GSE's mission is to provide professional, innovative, and timely engineering consulting services in order to exceed the expectations of our clients. GSE is expanding! We have recently expanded our offices by building a new lab located off of Archer Road. We have also recently made multiple new hires and we are now looking to hire more new positions.
Mr. Nordqvist is the CEO, Co-Owner, and a Principal Engineer at GSE Engineering. Jay has over 30 years of experience in providing geotechnical, structural, and environmental engineering consulting services to a wide variety of clients, both public and private. Jay earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 1985, and is an active member of the A.S.C.E, Urban Land Institute, and the Florida Brownfields Association.
Mr. Hill is the President, Co-Owner, and a Principal Engineer at GSE Engineering. Ken has over 35 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering and earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1983. Mr. Hill is involved in contract, public management, technical design, and analyses for a wide variety of geotechnical studies.
Jason joined GSE in March of 2010, and as a senior engineer, he has been providing professional engineering and consulting services throughout Florida, the southeast United States, and the Caribbean for 15+ years.
His engineering expertise and experience includes geotechnical and coastal engineering, structural inspection, FDOT, and contract administration services; working on projects ranging from evaluation/remediation of damaged structures/homes to serving as Resident Engineer on large federal projects.Cassie is a registered Engineer Intern in the State of Ohio with 1+ years experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
