Having the wedding at Wine county means something special with wine -- Susan's Champagne butter cake immediately caught our eyes when we did cake tasting. And not to mention the fresh raspberries in mousse and chocolate liner-fresh strawberries in Chantilly cream!
Her sketch on cake and also her suggestions are professional and hearty.

Paid over $150 for my husband's birthday cake and it tasted so bad that no one could eat it. This is an enormous amount to waste on a non-custom small cake that is inedible. I will admit that the cake was designed nicely, however, this look could be accomplished with cardboard and styrofoam for $2. And since it was too bad to eat, it wouldn't have made a difference if it was made of cardboard. Don't waste your time and money on this place.

Wow!!! We got married at the Westin SF and chose to go with Susan @ Elegant Cheese Cakes and boy did we make the right choice. From the minute we sat down in the cute Half Moon Bay shop until cutting into the glorious and beautiful cake, the whole experience of working with Susan was spectacular. We went with the flight of cake and it all tasted perfect. I don't know why anyone would want to use anyone else. The design?!?! She captured everything my wife and I wanted, which was simple and elegant but unique. She nailed it!

Susan's cakes are incredible pieces of art that look beautiful and also taste delectable. We first met Susan when she hosted a cake tasting at her home in Sonoma. She was able to accommodate all 6 of us, and gave us plenty of cake and even provided some delicious cake pops and coffee for the whole group. My wife surprised me with a 50th birthday party and had custom cake made here. It was over the top incredible, both in taste and design. They worked to create a cake that highlighted a few of my interests - mini, starbucks, disney, and more. Each panel of the cake highlighted logos or images from them and it was super creative and well done.

One of my most memorable moments during our wedding was our magnificent cake by Susan. We attempted to save some cake for our anniversary but failed... We couldn't wait a full year to reminisce our delicious cake. Luckily, Susan takes care of that with an anniversary cake! Her cakes are memorably delicious, creative in flavoring and artistry, and she was amazingly available despite her high demand. Choosing Elegant Cheesecakes was the easiest decision we made for our wedding!

OK SO BEST CAKE WE HAVE EVER EATEN. We just needed a small cake for our intimate wedding. We popped in elegant cheesecake as we were driving by (definitely make an appointment first! We just got lucky). Lucky for us, it was their tasting day (usually only 1x/month) but honestly everything is so good you can't go wrong.
We went with a traditional cake (as opposed to cheesecake). We got the "flight" cake which meant we could get multiple flavors.

We hired Elegant Cheese Cakes to do our wedding cake. Things got off to a good start even before we decided to use them.
They were flexible in arranging a last minute tasting where we got presented a full suite of cake flavors and creams. We couldn't finish everything and took some home. The cakes were all devoured within a day. Yes, it is that good.
The design phase was fun as well - we gave Susan a couple of ideas and she emailed us paper sketches of what she was thinking. The final result was just beautiful.

A client sent us the December cakes as thank you to our two offices in Portland, Oregon. During this time of year our fabulous clients send us things from all over the nation but the best has been these cakes. The Bourbon Vanilla disappeared in record time but the Chocolate Peppermint went nearly as fast. Since I'm partial to Chocolate and Mint, this was fine with me since I was able to sneak a last amazing bite onto my plate.

Susan made our wedding cake, and it was the talk of the party! It was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We chose the flight of Pistachio butter cake with orange-sickle cream and fresh strawberries.....white chocolate butter cake with fresh raspberries mousse...malted milk chocolate cake with malted milk shake butter cream. If I could give Susan more stars I would. Working with Susan was the best experience.
I've played around with baking and decorating cakes before in the past and she had me with "I hate fondant".
Susans cake tastes as good as they look. She is super creative and fun to work with. Our guests keep talking about how delicious our cake was - we went with the champagne white chocolate with strawberry, chocolate heath crunch and everyones favorite- Pistachio.
I had a vision in mind and she totally nailed it. Our photographer, Vero Suh, even said it was easily the best cake she photographed

My sister got her wedding cake from here and it was honestly the best cake I've ever tasted. Each layer was moist, tasty, and just overall special. The flavors were really unique and the cake looked amazing. Everyone raved about it.
