The Construction Zone ltd is a design-build firm based in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1992 we have established a reputation for creating unique modern architecture without compromising form or function. Our work is inspired by the sun and landscape of the Sonoran Desert: the varied patina of steel, the muted reflection of glass, and the subtle texture of stone and wood as light washes across them.
As architects and craftsmen, we are able to commit to budgets and timelines early in the design process while maintaining the highest quality standards that our clients expect. Our services include architecture, pre-construction services and general contracting, either in collaboration with other architects and contractors or through a streamlined process in which The Construction Zone is both the architect and the builder.

The Construction Zone, ltd. (CZ) is known throughout the U.S. for it's signature style of refined Desert Modern Architecture. CZ & principal Andy Byrnes, have been the featured builder for Custom Home Builder Magazine, highlighted in Architectural Digest for their work with Lake|Flato (San Antonio, TX) and hand selected to produce the designs of noted architects (Will Bruder, Al Beadle, & Wendell Burnette). They take extreme pride in their work and are often quoted as saying, " We are architects that build things."
