We didn't have a very good experience staying at Journey's End. Even though the lake itself and surrounding area was beautiful, we weren't able to enjoy our stay due to many problems with our cabin, The Lake House. The owners made a big deal of asking us to make our own beds "for COVID safety," but then the house itself was quite dirty. It was clear the soft furnishings and the blankets on them had not been cleaned/sanitized, as there was visible human and dog hair on all (we didn't have a dog). We had to do a wipe down ourselves upon arrival as many surfaces had a layer of dust and grime. After

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary/my graduation gift (both were in the same week), and I cannot say enough great things about this place. Long Lake is beautiful, and the cabin we stayed in (Nest) was very cozy and well-maintained. The owners were there as well, and they were both very lovely! We cannot wait to come back next summer. The photo is from our last night there and the view we had from Nest.

For over a decade, my dad and I have rented a cottage at Journey's End for our annual Father's Day fishing weekend at Long Lake, and never once has our stay disappointed. And this year was no exception. For the first time, we, along with my brother-in-law, had the pleasure of renting the "Lodge," which for us struck a fine balance between modern convenience (if not luxury) and the rusticity of the Adirondack woods. As always, the house was well-appointed and the grounds well-maintained. And the property's large private dock--just steps from our door--made launching and tying up our boat every morning

Would never recommend a stay here !!! My sister-in-law and I rented a cabin for my birthday. Upon entering the cabin we noticed an strange smell but thought perhaps the cabin had not been used in a bit. We also the notice the floor in the bathroom was sagging but did not give it much thought. After getting no sleep due to a dripping faucet, we both woke up with major headaches. We spoke with handyman Chris who promptly addressed the issue. We then approached Jerry (owner) .. about the issue and asked if we could move to another cabin which was vacant and were told NO as he would have a harder time
