Services
Since opening our doors in 2016, Texas Metropolitan Ballet has seen its students grow tremendously in their abilities and confidence. Originally founded in 2015 as Austin Metropolitan Ballet, the dream of Texas Metropolitan Ballet grew from director Randall Marks' passion and desire to teach quality classical ballet to dedicated students in a professional setting and to give them the opportunity to perform on a frequent basis.
Theses gentle preparatory classes introduce the basic elements of ballet to young boys and girls while working on coordination, rhythm, spatial awareness, ballet vocabulary, and classroom etiquette These classes help your child develop the essential skills of discipline and focus. Their education in the world of ballet is expanded with the opportunity to perform on stage in both the Nutcracker and the Spring Gala.
Students in the Upper Division are challenged in advanced ballet technique with exercises and combinations that will help develop the necessary strength to perform the many various dances from the classical repertoire as well as more contemporary neo-classical dances. These dancers will begin to demonstrate an understanding of and ability to perform at a more professional level not just technically, but artistically, as well.
From beginning to advanced, teens and adults can pursue the art of ballet training at their own pace without the requirements of the Junior & Upper Divisions. Benefits of ballet include improving posture, poise, toning and sculpting long lean muscles, stress reduction, flexibility, balance, strength and overall fitness.
TMB offers a premiere select program with outstanding, professional training and experience for early afternoon classes to dedicated students from a variety of educational backgrounds in an elite and professional environment. Open to homeschoolers, private schoolers and early release students. This program is geared to help the dancer excel in ballet.

When my daughter joined TMB she was very shy & quiet. The staff at TMB was very professional and opened her up and out of her shell! In one year with TMB, she really felt like a part of a new family & made so many new friends who shared the same passion! Schedules were kept, timelines were kept, pricing is amazing for the amount of work put in. Highly recommend attending a class or two if you are curious about the company. We relocated to a new state but TMB will always be close to our hearts! The Orellana Family (Soraya).
