Right from the moment they arrive to lush, stereo music setting the mood, to the intimate exchange of vows. It is very rare for guests to get a glimpse into every word as you are joined hand in hand forever.
Do you have a wedding reception coming up soon? If so, then you want to make it as exciting as possible, which is why you should hire us to handle your lighting. Light can make the difference between a good wedding reception and a spectacular wedding reception. Learn more about our services below. When we perform at receptions, we make sure we enhance a dark wedding venue with lighting that is well placed.
We include dance floor lights since their presence and use get people onto the dance floor. We don't just bring lights and music, but instead provide an atmosphere of fun that keeps guests at the party and entertains them. Uplighting is something we often recommend on top of dance floor lighting since it brings a new level of ambiance.
Because events are private this can be difficult, however, we do offer consultations so you can be comfortable with every detail before your event. Our contracts serve 2 purposes, the 1st and most important is that Sugar Sand Sound is contractually obligated to show up as your DJ on your wedding day.

Lyle was AMAZING for our 2021 wedding. Not only were his services spot on, but his humanity and kindness was priceless. He hung in there with us as we were forced to reschedule due to COVID, and he never missed a beat. Leading up to the big day Lyle communicated with us regularly and efficiently. Lyle and Leah did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding that we had on June 5th! We were married at Suttons Bay Ciders, and he was so accommodating throughout the entire celebration!! The guests were able to hear everything clearly throughout the ceremony, because of his portable microphone and speaker system. The guests were so grateful!! Lyle also read the crowd very well and kept the celebration going! Our guests still talk about how much fun they had!! Thank you so much Lyle for helping make our day so special!! :)

We thought Lyle did an awesome job! He worked with us to make sure everything was laid out just as we wanted it to be. He was really good about helping us with COVID related things, such as releasing every table for dinner in an orderly fashion to avoid getting too many people blocked in one space at once. Along with our photographer, he took the reigns and kept everything on track. We're very glad we picked Lyle to be our DJ!

Lyle and Jason did an amazing job! My wife and I got married last weekend at the Ridge of Verterra and hired them for ceremony and reception music. Everything went smoothly and according to timeline. He prepared a form for us to fill out to help with this. It made us prepare and think of things that weren't at the top of the list and could easily be missed. Everyone also said they had a blast! People were out on the dance floor until they kicked us out! Very professional and accommodating.
