It's one of our favorite sayings here at Camp Roger and Camp Scottie. We love our camps and want you to feel at home here whether you are dropping off a student for outdoor education, picking up a child from a week at camp, or participating in a retreat with your group in our beautiful woods. Camp Roger's ministry was founded on the same principles that we live by today.
Camp Roger and Camp Scottie place a top priority on your student's safety. Throughout every program, we focus on three main areas: high screening standards for employees and volunteers, certification requirements, and reporting/response. We believe that detailed screening standards are vital in preventing the abuse of children.
Want summer fun and excitement without staying overnight at Camp? Are you between Kindergarten and 5th grade? Did you attend Go Camp in 2020? Check out our day camp program at Camp Scottie!. Camp Scottie provides five-day sessions of themed adventures for unforgettable experiences. Chapel and devotions show God to you in new ways.
You may choose to use bus transportation for your camper during each session at no additional charge or you can drop off your camper directly at Camp Scottie. If you'd like your afternoon pick-up to be different than your morning choice, please contact the camp director at 616-648-7159. The bus route begins and ends in East Rockford and travels along the US-131 corridor with five primary bus stops.
Camp Roger has two options for overnight camp! Join us for a 4-day or our *new* 6-day sessions! Either one is sure to be a life-changing experience full of friendships and getting to know God in our beautiful woods. Camp Roger's caring staff connects you to God, nature, and each other through conversations and cabin devotions.

Had a great experience at Camp Roger Recently. It's a little hard to find of the road, but besides that the staff were helpful and friendly. They totally rebuilt their lodge/mess hall so it's clean, and efficient while still keeping the "cabin feel". The cabins are simple but they have everything necessary to serve their intended purpose. Worth planning an event here with your organization.
