As you pay down your mortgage, as your kids become adults-you won't need as much coverage. Adjust your policy by "Laddering, " or keep it the same. The choice is yours. Yep! If, for whatever reason, you're not completely happy with your policy, cancel in the first 30 days and get a full refund. After that, you can cancel any time without any cancellation fees.

We are 100% digital - no doctors, no needles, no paperwork - when you apply for $3 million in coverage or less. Anything greater and we may ask you to complete a quick, free, at-home health check. Term insurance protects your family for the 10-30 years they depend on you most. When your term ends, your monthly payments end too.
Services
We know it's not always easy. That's why we've created a painless way to get the life insurance coverage you need for those you care about most. At age 11 our CEO, Jamie, lost his dad and learned firsthand how life insurance can keep a family afloat during difficult times. Now, he's on a mission to help others set their families up for success the way his father did for him.
Laddering is a tool that lets you adjust your coverage, up or down, whenever. People say it sets us apart-and they love how, with Ladder, their coverage can match their needs. Use it often or not at all, it's entirely up to you. Savings attained by decreasing coverage to the next available lower face value every subsequent year from policy issue date.

Don't put yourself in the hands of their crudely designed algorithm. In an effort to automate, they don't bother differentiating between real health conditions and false positives. It's a frustrating experience that makes you feel your privacy has been invaded and your insurance application record blemished for no reason. Stay away.

Denied insurance because instead of dealing with my sister’s sudden death on my own, I decided to voluntarily check myself into a mental health program.

A joke honestly. Just like what everyone was saying, major ripoff that charges outrageously high premiums even to healthy individuals. It would have had 5 stars due to the easier process but failed once I saw the price I was getting. Literally anyone else would give me a much lower rate than Ladder. But thats okay that just helps me negotiate even better prices elsewhere! Thanks LadderLife! ;)

Ladder Life is a joke and a major rip-off. I have requested a quote from 4 different life insurance companies. (Ladder being one of them).
The 3 other major companies requested a physical with blood and urine test - Ladder just sent a "spit kit" that I sent back in the mail.
The 3 major companies produced an underwritten quote within 2 weeks of the physical and lab exams.
Ladder took 5 weeks and came up with a monthly premium (5) FIVE TIMES higher than the other 3.
I don't see the point of using this company on any level - unless you don't want a physical exam and prefer paying astronomical

Ladder would have been a 5 star review, because the process to apply was simple, easy and fast. From Ladder's own words "Ladder gives you an instant, simple, and smart way to take care..."
They instantly quote you a super low price. However, be wary -- and this is where the 2 stars come in -- this is not the price that you will likely get offered. My offer more than DOUBLED without any explanation. I'm an incredibly healthy, active 30 year old male without any history of disease or any health issues. I can only imagine what the quotes would look like for someone with asthma or any slight condition
