Talking to Dave is more like talking to your brother who is a cycling-enthusiast rather than talking to a small business owner. He is far more focused on making another happy cyclist than on making a sale. How can you not like this guy? If I had to find one fault, it is that he has limited inventory, which is a country-wide problem right now.

I was immediately greeted by Tasha.
She was very helpful told her I just moved to the area and was very interested where I came from. The store was packed with bikes mostly repairs.
Tasha said that people that looking to get out on the road and has been a spike in bike riders because of the pandemic
While I was there decided to buy you some new bike shorts and one of their awesome jerseys.
She also had me sign up for a bike riding group I inquired about. Looking forward to getting to know people and get some exercise
Thanks again Red Newt I will be back

Fixed the derailleur and derailleur hanger. His price on the derailleur was better than the internet and he walked us through how to purchase a hanger online since he didn’t have it. My husband asked him to put the new parts in and it was done with great quality, great value and quickly. So thankful our son can have his bike back. If you’re in the area or passing through definitely recommend. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable...I even learned a lot as he was showing my husband how to check different components and make adjustments if needed!! Great Experience!!

Really positive experience. I’m a new cyclist with a lot to learn. Today I noticed that my rear brake wasn’t working right at all. I had to be in Lexington this evening, and I wasn’t sure if there was even a bike shop in Lexington. But Google informed me of Red Newt, so I threw my bike into the car and headed for Lexington. Wes and Dave identified the break problem explained to me what was wrong. And they fixed it at a price so reasonable I couldn’t believe it. While I was there they gave me a lot of good information regarding local routes and bike options. So my bike is fixed, I know how

We brought our grandson's bike in to have hand brakes added so he would be more comfortable riding it. We were pleased at how it turned out ! He is riding on the nice Spring-like days we have had and loves the bike. We are anxious for the Summer as we plan to get our grandson a new bike and will definitely come to Red Newt Bikes !
