Our goal is to continue the State Street Pilates tradition of providing the original Joseph Pilates method of functional strength, balance, and alignment. We welcome all levels- beginners through advanced. We invite you to experience the difference that Pilates can make in your life at our studio in Redlands.
Services
State Street Pilates is Redlands' first and original Pilates studio established in 2001. The studio is conveniently located in historic downtown Redlands at 233 E. State Street upstairs in Suite #1. We are within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants and parking. Our intimate studio provides natural light, wood floors, and unobstructed views of the San Bernardino mountain range.
Pilates is a form of body conditioning that was developed by the late Joseph Pilates. His method, which he called "contrology", focuses on strengthening the core muscles or "powerhouse". Pilates teaches that the core muscles need to be strong and stable before working other parts of the body. His exercises incorporates strengthening and stretching simultaneously with a mind/body connection.
Using our Pilates apparatus, individual lessons are tailored to heighten your strengths and challenge your weaknesses. If you have a physical limitation or injury, you'll find our personal instructions to be challenging, yet highly rewarding. By appointment only. Call to schedule. If you wish to work with someone on the same fitness level as you, check out our semi-private sessions.
