A unique and beautiful waterfront R.V. park, situated along the Colorado River. Rio Del Sol is located 7 miles south of Parker Arizona, near Highway 62, at Big River, California. The R.V. park and facilities are one of the choicest places on the Colorado River, located in a region favored by many as the ultimate destination for family vacations or a winter destination.

Our R.V. Park offers serene views and relaxing places to unwind and enjoy the time away. The quiet gurgling river, surrounding bluffs and the scenic views of the mountains are just a few of the things that you will discover. Be sure to bring a camera. The riverfront lawn is a great area to bring a chair, a book, or just relax in the shade under the trees next to the river.

I called several times around 7:30 in the evening and rang through to a message of a woman's friendly sounding voice stating that the manager was on the other line or out in the park. Ironically, the man who returned my calls was very aggressive and wanted to know "what is your emergency?" and why I was "blowing up the phone" -- whatever that means. He hung up on me before I could explain that my phone had bad service in the desert. Reading the several other one-star reviews, there seems to be a repeated history of a male employee or manager who is aggressive and rude. I suggest you read them before

A very nice and friendly RV park right on the Colorado River. Many of the part time residents come back year after year and stay 6 months. A very active community. Trees and a nice lawn along the river. Nice hiking trail. Close to Parker, AZ, casino, nice restaurants and Saloons with bands.

We arrived for late check in at 3am in the middle of a dust storm. We signed the late check in paperwork and left a message that we would be down to pay in the morning. We were woken at 7am by a very angry/rude employee pounding down our door informing us we had 15 minutes to get off the property. When we went to pay they refused to honor our Passport America discount and charged us full price

This is a very well managed and run park that is absolutely stunning down by the river. Yes, they make rules--but the rules make sense to me because they are enforced equally without favoritism. The rules are for the benefit of all. I love the dog run, the quiet nights where all you here is the river and the wind through the trees--makes it a wonderful place to spend some time and unwind.

This is a quaint quiet RV park with a wide grassy area along the Colorado River. The sites are gravel and there are many semi-permanent older trailers and motor coaches. The park needs some work and is not well maintained. The access to the river makes this a place for those with a boat or skidoo. We stayed in a 30' ft fifth wheel in April.

Wonderful relaxing winter place. This is our first time as "snowbirds ". We found the place on line through the website. Beautiful Colorado River, shady trees, grassy park, with fantastic managers and staff. The activities club is terrific! We will definitely be returning! !!

Beautiful and secluded with large trees along grassy riverside park area, available to all guests. Well kept grounds and clubhouse. Managers and guests very friendly and helpful. They make it a point to welcome new guests and show the facilities. A unique feature of this park is that it is adjacent to wide open desert for RV excursions and hiking. Also, there is no development for many miles downstream so the river is relatively quiet. Check out this little haven on the River--you will definitely want to become regulars.

We've stayed here for past 5 or 6 years. Great location, river frontage. Always pet friendly but leash your pet. Shuffleboard court not level anymore. Nice pool table in clubhouse. Bathrooms have a perpetual nasty smell although always clean, and although I didn't use the showers, I never heard anything negative. Nice kitchen you can sign up and use. Fishing not very good anymore, water too swift for fishing by boat but they have lots of docks. Water isn't drinkable -- too salty, bring bottled water. Sewer smell throughout lower areas, park designed for smaller older campers, not the big 2 bath
