Worst place ever completely unprofessional Dumpsters are old and rotten the owner is very disrespectful don’t know how to talk or have a conversation, he just yells and cursed. I ordered a dumpster waited for the whole day just for them to show up the next day.

Do NOT hire this company. They are extremely unreliable and that's a problem. Specially because you will waste your precious time trying to deal with their nonsense! Not only it took them two days to bring the dumpster after promising prompt delivery, but when we were done and asked it be removed, they delayed another 4-5 days. [no to mention that the dumpster itself was falling apart]. Until we threatened to get the thing towed and put on town property, they did not take it. Omg the WORST. We had our work done in one day, was told pickup the next day(Monday).. never came. So finally Friday -our contractor called and said they were coming Saturday. So my husband parked his car trailer in front since we knew they were coming Saturday & because we had no other spots.they came two hours later and was mad at us for not being able to move. Finally they come on Tuesday. Left so much debris and concrete.. I called the owner answered proceeded to curse and yell at me. 🤣🤣 this place is a joke.

Run as fast as you can from this company! I'd give 0 stars if I could. The dumpster they dropped looked like the bottom was going to drop out in our driveway. I specifically asked when I called to order the dumpster "how long can we keep it for?" I was told that the fee you pay is for drop off and pick-up, just call them when you're done and they'll come get it. NO TIMELINE! Owenr threatened to punch me in the face. He asked me to move my truck and trailer which I had no problem doing I said hold on one second buddy let me make sure my dad or any of his workers were not in the way of the trailer. A very tight opening couldn’t see very well with the trailer doors opening. His exact words moves this piece of $h!t out of the way I’m not your buddy I’m the owner I’ll punch you in the face. This was one of the worst experience's I ever had dealing with any business establishment. I had to call to have my dumpster removed from my driveway 3 times. On my last call the owner started screaming and cursing at me. He told me that I'm not his F'ING wife that I can't keep bothering him and then he threatened to leave the dumpster and never pick it up. My wife then called him and he cursed at her and hung up on her. Do yourself a favor - DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES. I say this because the company delivered a dumpster to my home on 9/4/20. It is now 9/14/20 and the dumpster has yet to be picked up. Customer service was horrible-upon my first time calling the company I was yelled at, hung up on, and practically talked over the entire time having barely gotten a word in. The owner it seems to me struggles emotionally-and perhaps isn't happy with his life and as a result takes it out on his customers. It's quite sad actually. My advice to him-seek joy and therapy because your NEGATIVE attitude is not

DF Allen saved me!!!! I recently purchased a home in East Northport Long Island and found myself with bushes/trees to trim and tons of garbage from my move and furnishings. When I called DF Allen for a dumpster in the afternoon they went out of their way to deliver it to me the same day. When I filled it to the brim and needed another one they were super accommodating and helped me out with another late request. Daniel was terrific!!! I highly recommend this company!!!

Fast to deliver an empty dumpster to my drive way but i had to beg them to pick up the full dumpster from me, i called for 4 days and every time they said they were coming today, the driver was on the way, but 4 days passed and no one showed up. now whenever i call, the guy picked up the phone gave me a very bad attitude, he said to me "we are picking up to-dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" and hung up! what the heck wrong with you? i m the customer! hello??? now is almost 1pm and no one showed up!!!

I've been to a few different dumps in the New York metropolitan area, being involved in construction.
DF Allen is centrally located in Westbury. So it's convenient for a lot of people.
I've been to cheaper places though.
Also, it appears only one vehicle at a time can dump construction materials. So I had to wait 20-25 minutes just to dump because someone was in front of me.
Also it can be a pain to flag down an employee to get weighed before and after the dump. Everyone is so busy.
That being said, once you do get someone's attention, service is good. They will accommodate

Please please do not use this company. we have used this company several times in the past with no issues. We ordered a dumpster on 9/19/2015 on the contract it stated dumpster would be picked up one week from delivery 9/26/2015. on wen 9/23 I called to make sure it would be picked up on sat9/26/2015. on the morning of9/26/15 I called to again make sure it would be picked up. I was told by noon. at two pm I called and spoke to Dak he begged me not to yell at him when I explained that i had a race car it was blocking and had paid track fees. he told me his father would call me back. Reliable place to order dumpster from! I have ordered about 15-20 dumpster from them , I just find them to be a bit pricey on there dumpster. You can definitely find them cheaper somewhere else.
I think $850 for a 30 yarder is a bit much
But great place to drop off junk though pricey are great for that !

This company was great up until today. I ordered so far about 10 boxes from them. The guy that claimed to be the owner came on the phone and was a complete a$$hole. That is not how you treat the customer.
I simply reminded him I called yesterday morning and the box hasn't been removed and that my guys can't work and he blew up like a 5 year old child with an anger management issue. I have used a few dumpster companies in the past and DF Allen will be getting all of my business. I called them at 530 PM on a Friday and had a dumpster at my house the following Saturday morning at 7:30 AM. Upon filling the container, it was picked up the very next day upon my phone call that it was ready. I spoke to the owner directly and he seemed like a good guy. I came here to leave a review and saw all the negative reviews and all I can say is that this is a dumpster company. All that matters is the drop off and pick up and they get it right every time.

First off, the guys that dropped off and picked up the container were great. They were hard working, professional, respectable. Service was flawless and I made sure to tip them.
However, its unfortunate, but I'm not likely going to do business with this company again. The owner is rude and disrespectful. He sounds like a 2nd - 3rd generation Allen, a spoiled brat, living off the hardwork of his father/grandfather. Perhaps if he was the one who built the company, he would have more respect for his clients and business.
What he doesn't know is, I have a few more renovation projects

I can't believe how rude these people are! I called after one of their Trucks almost T-boned my car, as it was leaving the company property and running a stop sign without even slowing down. My pregnant wife was in the car and if I hadn't swerved into oncoming traffic's lane & the on-coming car hadn't seen me, it would have been a very bad accident.
I regularly drive this route and this is not the first, second or third time I have seen their drivers blow through this stop sign without regard for oncoming traffic.
