Lone Star Pain Medicine aims for substantial alleviation of pain, allowing our patients to live more full and productive lives. We approach each person in a holistic manner, taking their complete medical history and diagnostic exam results into consideration. This allows us to uncover the source of pain and determine the best course of treatment.
Rather than temporarily masking the pain with prescription medication, we formulate individualized treatment plans with the goal of providing lasting relief. Options may include either surgical or non-surgical treatments. Only after fully understanding a person's history and underlying issues, will our compassionate team of pain doctors present the most effective plan for management of an individual's chronic or acute pain.

I came here as a last resort as I’ve been struggling with chronic pain for years, but was nervous due to the reviews. Every staff member I’ve encountered have been so nice, and both doctors are amazing. Dr. Harmer was able to identify the cause of my chronic pain after one visit, and started treatment immediately after. He even had a plan for what we’d do if the initial treatment didn’t work. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Harmer for about 2 years and have nothing but praise for the entire office and staff. I have had no negative encounters with anyone in this office. I would recommend him to anyone who is having pains that they are looking for relief from.
In response to Mr. Ryan’s review, I was in the office at the time he came with his wife. She was not wearing a mask, the office staff was very courteous even though he was extremely rude, there were several people wearing masks, and groups that were not family did maintain distance from one another. Mr. Ryan’s review is not accurate

Interesting. I have 4 kids, a wife, parents, grandkids. So I’m in a lot of doctors offices. This is a cramped and crowded waiting area. Not one person, staff or people waiting are wearing masks. I asked at the front desk and they said they don’t require masks if you’ve been vaccinated. I asked how she knew if anyone had been vaccinated because that wasn’t asked of me or my wife who is the patient. She said, “Sir I don’t set the protocols for the office.” Wow. Horrible. I went to the car. She said I couldn’t wait in the car. Unbelievable Office. If I was the patient I’d walk out

I am not a patient at this facility but I did drive someone there today that is a patient. I had to wait for her in the lobby while she had her procedure. I would like to respond mostly to Richard who posted about no one having masks on in the waiting area.
I was there at the same time as this man and his wife. He was belligerent and rude. While I was in there I saw 3 or 4 people with masks on. The waiting area is small but I saw no one from different parties sitting within 6 feet of each other. I was in the waiting area for about 45 minutes. I think the staff in the front office was professional

Dr. Balderamos is great when seeing him. However, the office staff...that's a whole different story. The office manager is horrible. As well as one of the PA'S. Supposed to be professional yet far from it...and once report concerns and stand up for yourself..and not allow to be treated rudely or have raised voice where anyone in waiting room can hear what you've had done there...and request/refuse to interact with that employee...you get dismissed. Their childish 'clicks' are like grade school tactics. Dr. Balderamos is good...but not worth having to deal with the office staff..Brittany is polite

Literally THE worst office staff I have ever dealt with in my life. They never, ever return phone calls. It took us calling for MONTHS to even get the first appointment.I seriously don't know how these people stay in business. They almost never answer their phones. You leave messages and they never return them. Absolutely ridiculous. I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid these people like the plague.

I read reviews and was terrified to give this place a try. Even bawled my eyes out because I was scared that I wouldn’t get to my appointment in time and they wouldn’t see me (I had been in horrific pain) I called and the lady was VERY FRIENDLY and was able to move my appointment just 30 mins different so I could make it. Everyone in the office was friendly and the doctor and his assistant were friendly and answered all my questions and gave me all the information and what Procedure he’d be doing. They scheduled my cervical injection in great time. I had my cervical neck injection yesterday
