After years of study, Mike established Benner 's Woodworking in Lebanon, Ohio, providing custom furniture utilizing techniques accumulated by designing and building thousands of museum-quality pieces of furniture and custom cabinets.

We just had a custom banquette designed and installed by Benners Woodworking. It's absolutely beautiful and truly is a showpiece. I essentially showed Mike two different inspiration pictures and asked if they could make something that combined the two photos together...and it came out even better than I imagined! They even worked around two floor vents and creatively hid the new air returns in the toe kick. It took a while to get the install scheduled, largely due to the ramifications of the coronavirus, but it was well-worth the wait. The price for the quality of craftsmanship was unbeatable.

Many years ago we hired Mike Benner to make kitchen cabinets for our bed and breakfast in Burlington Kentucky.
The cabinets were made of cherry and curly maple. My husband and I sold the b and b more that 2 years ago. The kitchen is still so beautiful. The new owner made a few changes but those cabinets are still in the finest working order. As a bed and breakfast the kitchen really got it's use day in and day out. So well made.

These folks make solid wood (no veneer) real furniture. They seem to specialize in tiger maple. This is real furniture, that kind that will outlive you. It will cost more than local furniture galleries because it is not made in China from pulp and veneer and toxic stains. Have a look in their shop to see what skilled craftspeople do and let’s support people who make real products that last.
