District #6 Federal Credit Union now offers curbside assistance for our members of advanced age as well as our members with disabilities. Don't stay away because we don't have a drive-thru! Call us in advance, and we would be happy to meet you outside. District #6 FCU is a nonprofit financial institution owned and controlled by its members.
We operate on the principal of people helping people. We offer the same financial services as banks but much cheaper, our rates are competitive, and we top it off with service with a smile!

Services
If you are eligible to join District #6 Federal Credit Union (check out our Membership Eligibility Page), membership begins with a share (savings) account. All it takes is a $25.00 minimum deposit, but then it can grow to so much more! The Credit Union will require a copy of an unexpired government-issued id evidencing nationality or residence and bearing a photograph, such as a driver's license or passport.
We encourage you to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud by reviewing your account and monitoring your free credit reports for suspicious activity and to detect errors. Under U.S. law, a consumer is entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit reporting bureaus, Equifax, Experian and Trans Union.
You are required to have a Share Draft Account (Checking) in order to apply for a Visa Debit Card. Once your application is received and the order is placed, your new card will arrive in approximately 10 days. There will be a sticker on your card with an 800 number for activation (1-800-992-3808) or call the Credit Union office to have your card activated.
