Havoc Motorsport was established in 1974 by long time national winning race car driver and engineer Jody Lift. Since its beginnings as a race car prep shop in 1985, Havoc Motorsport has become full service prep shop and race team for cars such as Pro Formula Mazdas, Formula Mazdas, Formula Atlantics, World Challenge TC cars, Rally X cars, Porsche Caymans, Audi RS7 and R8 cars, GT-1 cars and sports racers.

Established in 1974, by Jody Lift, Havoc Motorsport has provided high performance street car, race car, and rally auto parts, service, and maintenance for over thirty years for everything from GT-1 cars and Sports Racers, Formula Cars to Pro Rally Cars. Havoc is a full service motorsport facility capable of building, developing, maintaining, and campaigning successful racing efforts.
The Havoc Motorsport philosophy is simple. Our team of professional racing instructors will teach you the basic tools of road racing and high performance car control techniques. Whether you own a high-performance vehicle or want to learn how to drive real racecars, Havoc has the facilities, knowledge and opportunities for you.
The Formula Mazda is an open wheel race car which is adaptable to both oval tracks and road courses. It is a "spec" formula car, meaning that under the sanction body of SCCA and the FM class, all cars are virtually the same. The motor is sealed by Daryl Drummond Enterprises, the official engine builder, and all parts must be as provided by the Formula Mazda manufacturer, Moses Smith Racing.

We offer an Arrive & Drive Rentals and Driver's Schools here at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet. You are able to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush in an open-wheel rotary-powered Formula Mazda or a Pro Mazda race car for a one or two day program. During the event you will learn advanced open wheel racing techniques, while receiving personalized instruction.
