The Haudenshield Funeral Homes were established in 1919 by it's founder, Sydney Haudenshield, Sr., who in time operated nine funeral homes in the Tri-State area. Through the years he sold some of his funeral homes to area funeral directors and are still operated as funeral homes to this day.
Our funeral home was the forerunner of many innovations in the early years, such as the first to introduce the motorized hearse to the Tri-State area and the originators of the white funeral flags placed on cars in the funeral procession to insure their safety along the route traveled.

Staff members of Haudenshield Funeral Home and Cremation Services are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Rich is a local graduate of the Cuba City High School and of Fox Valley College in Appleton, WI.

Rich and Jill at Haudenshield Funeral Home have amazing gifts of compassion, caring, and professionalism. They stepped us through the process of making the difficult decisions with the loss of our mother. Every detail of the arrangements was planned to perfection and the funeral became a celebration of her life. Rich & Jill took very good care of our family when my mom, Deb Schuchart, passed away. They were compassionate and just so caring and empathetic. Losing a loved one is a terrible thing, and then you are faced with all the now what do I/we do moments. Richard and Jillian were amazing in assisting with all those moments. They helped me through all the decisions that needed to be made then made sure everything we needed was taken care of. They were kind, compassionate and extremely helpful throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for anything more of them.
