OmegaFlare is a 37° Stainless Steel Flare Fittings or JIC. The flare fitting involves three components, a fitting body, a flare sleeve and flare nut. Flare fittings are tolerant of variations in hydraulic systems making it easy to install, service and reuse. AMFM Braid bands, retain woven braid covering corrugated metal hose during the welding process.
OmegaOne manufactures pipe fittings and adapters made to the NPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) and NPSM (National Pile Straight Mechanical) standards defined by ANSI B 1.20.3 and SAE Straight Thread fittings as defined by SAE J514. Standard NPT/F pipe fittings are the most basic level of thread connection.
Braid bands, also referred to as braid sleeves or braid ferrules, are used to retain woven braided sleeve covering corrugated metal hose. The braided sleeve provides strength to the corrugated metal hose as well as protecting the hose from abrasion. The AMFM Braid Band is integral to the process of welding together a metal hose assembly.
The Branding program allows custom imprinting of critical information on to the AMFM Braid Band or Wrapped Band. Branding allows fabricators to imprint their name or other critical information on their metal hose assembly. The Braid Band and Wrapped Band are permanent bands attached to the hose making them an ideal place for permanently marking the hose.
