We make your transition into childcare at Story Book House as easy and comforting as possible. Our goal is to give you peace of mind while you are gone during the day and give your child a happy and safe environment. We accept children from six weeks to school age and we do not exceed state ratios.
We provide breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks that are kid-tested meals cooked on the premises. Story Book House was established to provide quality, loving care for children while away from their parents during the day. Story Book House is the child's home away from home, so we would like our parents to feel confident that their child's needs are being met during these early formative years.

Words cannot express the love that I have for Story Book House. I have two children there, one in the infant room and one that has been in the infant room and now in the toddler. They both love going to school every day and I love that I can trust the teachers to take care of my babies. What impresses me the most is that they truly know them--from what they like and don't like, to what motivates them, and how to address their ever-changing needs. The staff are very communicative and are always doing what they can to get the parents involved in activities.

Our daughter has been going to this center since she was 3 months old and our son at 6 months and we have nothing but amazing things to say about it! They are professional, loving, caring and all around great people that work here. I couldn't think of a better safe, caring, learning, and professional place for both of our kids to be.

All of my kids have gone through Storybook for the past 7-8 years, ranging from the baby room all the up to school age. The staff is very professional, very caring. They treat your kids as if they were their own. It’s a great daycare all around. I would highly recommend it.

I am so very happy with my child's experiences every day at Story Book House in Kent. She's developing quickly with her language, motor skills, manners, social skills, and all-around growth. I am consistently impressed with their teaching, the range of foods in their meals, the content of the daily activities, and the kindness and compassion they show their children/students and families. I love Story Book House and can't say enough positive things about our family's experience. Amazing people, great management, clean and friendly environment. Couldn't ask for more in my child's daycare. THANK

My son learned so much while attending for 3 years (age 2 1/2- 5 1/2). Communication between the teachers and us was beyond what was expected. The teachers are awesome and he talks about them all the time. Storybook House has done an awesome job preparing him for Kindergarten. The Storybook House staff has been like a 2nd family to our son!

I am the Preschool teacher for the 2 1/2- 3 1/2 year-old room here at Story Book House and I have a child that attends the center as well. I have worked here for nearly 7 years and this center's staff truly are the best there are! These ladies are a wonderful bunch that are creative and fun and make each day special for the children that attend. Children learn so much just through group play and social interaction. Parents can rest assured that their children will spend their days in a very wholesome and loving environment where their social interactions will be nothing but positive and valuable

What a great daycare! I have had my youngest at Storybook since he was 12 weeks old. The ladies there are amazing and know his likes and dislikes without me having to worry about it! They really love my children like their own and are like a second family to us. I did look at other daycares in the area, but none could compare to the love and education that they receive at Storybook. My kids have learned so much and arrive and leave everyday hugging the women who work there…even the teachers from the classrooms they are no longer in! The small/home feel is one of the things I loved the most. Everyone

I currently have 2 children who attend this daycare and me and my family love it! My son who has turned 2 in April, has been at the daycare since 3 months of age and my daughter who is 8 has been there for a few years as well. Storybook is a second family to my children, my son can speak in sentences and is learning so much due to the hands on learning and caring he receives everyday. He comes in and leaves giving kisses and hugs to the people who work there. I would recommend this daycare to any family with kids, it's a warm nurturing environment, that I as a mother need for my children, since
