Reservation process simple.and clear via telephone. Late check in - they leave a map outside office with your name on it and site route and location marked.
Did laundry while there. Ample washers and driers.
Interior sites very shaded under large trees.
Water front sites have some trees but have the benefit of bench swings or benches in front of each site.
Got helpful recommemdation of local RV store to find replacment parts I needed.

May family and I had the pleasure of camping at Bar Harbor RV Resort on 7/15/21 - 7/18/21. We had a waterfront back in site (P12). It was easy to get in and out of and the view was spectacular. Check in was easy and staff were pleasant and helpful. The park is a small, privately owned property. There were RV’s of all shapes and sizes. Some sites were permanent and some seasonal. There were oddly a few small cottage-like houses on the property as well. There was a small pool and a tiny store/gift shop. There was a bath house centrally located and it was clean. The “beach” area was very small

A nice campground with some great views. A little small and cramped, but good value for the price with nice amenities. Sites have concrete pads, which is rare, and pull in sites allowing you to pull right up to the water front and enjoy the view. The park has a nice pool and a rec room. They also have a nice and clean shower house. Sites have full hookups with great water pressure. Kayaking is nice, but no place to really ride bikes in the area. There are pitfalls, though, being so close to the water during high tide.

We found out about bar harbor RV when we were going to be in between houses after selling our home and buying in this insane market. We needed a local place to call home and they were great! We needed up with a delay in closing and bar harbor stepped up and said we can help make this work for you and limit the number of site hopping. Took great care of us and understood our stress and really went out of the way to help us. Great little place near baltimore but not too close. Enjoyed the stay.

For the RVers that would consider this park go for it. I lived there almost two years as a full timer and it was a great place to be. I was in site A8 and it was great. That site is close to the river but stays very dry. I have never had water issue or power. The water is city and the sewer is as well. During the spring summer and earl fall it is shady and the breeze off the water is great. I liked it there and would go back again. Happy camping all

My husband, daughter and I spent 3 days here. We absolutely loved the view. The park itself is quiet. ( you will hear trains and I believe military in the background) My only complaint is the bathrooms were not cared for or cleaned the entire 3 days we were there. Showers are clogged and dirty, and toilets were full. Also as a parent, I do not like that the playground is near the entrance/exit away from campsites as well as the propane fill being just feet away from where children will be playing.
Otherwise, I recommend it.

A decent RV park that is in need of some updating and TLC. It's located in a good place, with short drive to pretty much anything you want to see. The staff is friendly and professional, but they do have their favorite campers. The views are good, but you are on the water. Most sites flood during a good rain storm and it gets really muddy. It does have a security gate, but the entry code is on it. The dog park is being held up with rope and duck tape. Most sites are tight, and a few are spacious. If you need to do laundry, there is a laundry mat 5 minutes from the campground and is cheaper

Stayed here a few weeks ago for work. Wished we could have stayed longer, but my husbands knee injury had us heading home. Very nice and quiet campground. Office hours were weird, but we worked around them. Views were absolutely gorgeous and I loved seeing the ducks wander around the campground. Nice campground for kids and pool seemed nice. Laundry facilities were well kept. Only complaint is that the dryer didn't dry my clothes completely, but another cycle fixed that. I did not use the bath house, but saw others using it so I'm guessing it was clean and well kept. We will be back if

Absolutely Perfect!! So, we ended up at this beautiful RV park by fate! We are new RVers, we had just bought our RV and Vehicle. However, the RV dealer did us wrong and we were almost stranded if it wasn't for Bar Harbor! We ended up at this little piece of heaven while we got everything situated to get back on the road. The people there, especially Jackie and Caroline, we're so friendly, helpful and worked with us with our situation and for that we are so great full!! This RV park is off the beaten path, but when you get to it, it opens up to this beautiful park on the bay, totally unexpected

I see several negative reviews of this RV Park ranging from the disposition of the owners to trains passing in the distance. I wouldn't place much stock in these few complaining types. We've been coming here for five years and will continue to do so. The staff has always been polite and helpful. The waterfront sites and views are spectacular ! The price for full hookups seems to be a bit below average. The only bothersome aspect is with some "special" guests that figure they are the only ones here. Obnoxious, noisy types. The staff makes every effort to correct these

We stayed here for the winter 2015-2016. Was quiet and nice. We had a nice size site, plenty of room for our 38' 5th wheel. All the amenities were off for winter so we did not get to use the pool, bath house, clubhouse or swimming area. Could use some upkeep around the grounds, but this place has some great potential. Has some houses that are divided into apartments on the grounds and some seasonal/permanent RV units. Does have strict rules about pets, not very pet friendly and rates were high (they charged $100 per month per kid and we have 3 kids) I took that as not very family friendly

Really have mixed feelings about this campground. On the one hand we had one of the best views from our site that we have ever had yet on the other hand the campground itself was average at best.
We were on the point. Pull in sites that look directly onto the beautiful Bush River. Not a prettier view in a long time. But - narrow asphalt pads with the utility hook ups set lower in a depression between our site and the one next door. Bugs, bugs, bugs.
Dumpster is adjacent to bath house and was overflowing on our arrival. Grass is need of mowing and gravel was pretty thin on the

Very congested and cramped. We made a reservation for a site that would accommodate a 38ft motor home. The site was too small had to pack it up and move! Drove an hour to Cherry Hill place.
While I was there walked the shoreline and there was rotting fish on the sand it was pretty stinky. My husband said the pool and club house were tidy...this campground will work if you have a smaller recreational vehicle. But you are packed like sardines on top of each other...if you are use to the campgrounds out west you will have a problem with this campground.

Campground needs better upkeep. Lots of long grass, overgrown landscaping, and general poor condition of grounds.
Sites are very small and awkward with some sites "pull in" for rvs which makes their curbside directly face the neighbors curbside in very close quarters. Might be ok if they were your friends or family but a little too cozy for strangers.
Seems to be a lot of "rules" that are not enforced. They state no pets over 30# but lots of large dogs here anyway.
