Maple Heights Campground offers a unique experience in northern Wisconsin family camping. We border the Nicolet National Forest, and the picturesque McCaslin Brook trout stream meanders around the campground. Set up your tent, camper or RV under a canopy of huge maple, beech and hemlock trees. All of our campsites are wooded and most are easy pull-through sites for easy access with trailers or RV's.
All sites offer electric hook-ups and many offer water hook-ups as well. Check out our great seasonal rates! Now you can have that place up north that you've always wanted! Our area offers a multitide of opportunities to explore and enjoy nature. Visit the Lakewood State Fish Hatchery or enjoy a hike on one of our scenic trails.

Services
Because it is so quiet here in the northwoods most nights, it is important to keep your voices down to almost a whisper and turn off all music during these quiet hours if you want to remain around your campfire. All visitors must leave the campground by 10:00 pm and children should be on their own sites during Quiet Time.
At Maple Heights Campground, we feature FAMILY CAMPING under a canopy of huge maple, beech and hemlock trees. Our sites consist of 31 overnight/daily sites with varying amenities and an additional 80+ offered on a seasonal basis. Most sites are easy pull-through sites, a nice convenience for RV's and vehicles pulling campers.
At Maple Heights Campground our seasonal sites are grouped together as a community, making it easy to get to know your neighbors. The campground is family-oriented, featuring special activities such as our clean-up weekend potluck tradition, holiday fun, and the popular chili dump weekend in October.
As noted on the Campground Map, there are several types of campsites. Rates vary by type and are based on 2 adults plus 4 children 17 years of age and under and do not include sales tax. Extra adults are $8.00 each per night (maximum two vehicles per site). A deposit of $20.00 per site is required on non-holiday weekends (two night minumum), due when making the reservation.
We also offer an 10-hole mini-golf course, fun for all ages, and we have volleyball, ladder golf, bean bags, and horseshoes for your enjoyment as well. Biking or hiking through the campground or beyond into the Nicolet National Forest offers another way to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of this area.

One of the best rv Parks i stayed at this season. We rv'ed at 4 different places this year all season long. This place was friendly, decent prices from paying for a month to prices in the shop. More amenities than most places from the pool to mini golf to a volleyball court, wifi, each sight had its own breaker box and Water spicket. I sold my camperbut if I get another one we'll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place.

I had a good time although I think their cheap mini golf course should be included in there overly priced nightly stay. Also they claim they have wifi this is true BUT you have to be right next to the office and they unplug it at night. If you go any time in the summer the towers are packed and that wifi is really important!

Maple Heights is one of our favorite campgrounds! This campground gives us the opportunity to four wheel the wonderful trails of Lakewood all while providing amenities the whole family can enjoy! Play mini golf, rent pedal cars, swim in the heated pool, playgrounds, and enjoyed a corn roast over our last weekend visit. We will definitely enjoy more time in Lakewood at this fun family campground!

We had an excellent time! Everything was very well kept, camp host and other employees were very friendly. I've learned though that's per the norm in Northern Wisconsin (not so much in the St.louis area). My kids made a number of friends during our stay๐ they also enjoyed the heated pool. It was much to cold for me though. The playground and toddler playground were favorites of my younger kids. The showers were nice, hot and always kept clean. We can't wait to go back!
