Services
We often hear it explained that to achieve weight goals an individual needs to adjust both diet and exercise routines. One without the other is not optimal. A similar directive can be said for some mental health issues. Sometimes it's not just one approach that can help you reach mental health goals like reducing anxiety, focus issues or depression.
If your insurance does not cover behavioral health or has a high deductible, we are able to offer reduced rate sessions with one of our LPC Associates, under the supervision of a fully-licensed therapist. For those that qualify, we are also able to provide sliding scale rates for services with any of the therapists.
3rd Friday is a counselor facilitated social meet-up for middle and high-school age kids with Level 1 ASD or Aspergers. Pizza, soda and games are provided all for free! The purpose is to give those on the spectrum a safe, comfortable social outlet to relax without judgement. All new attendees are asked to RSVP to make sure it's the right fit.

I worked at the Center for Neuroperformance and Counseling for my Practicum site during my second to last semester in graduate school. I am so thankful for Mrs. Tracie Owens for allowing me to experience her wonderful services she provides as a clinician who can perform biofeedback and counseling services. I was able to watch as she embraced young people who struggled with ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder and Anxiety and help them develop coping skills and receive positive results from biofeedback. It was truly an honor to have this experience and be able to grow as a counselor as a result of this

When we were referred to Tracie Owens at the Center for Neuroperformance and Counseling, we approached hopefully, yet with an ounce of skepticism as we had been through many years of working with therapists with limited positive results.
Our son immediately formed a connection, and learned that Tracie Owens and her crew actually care for their clients. More importantly, they have the training to lead clients to make wise decisions. They don't pander to our son when he has a problem, but deal head on, and steer him to the right solution. Our son has several neurological challenges, and CNC

My son has been receiving neurofeedback at CNC for the last several months. Tracie and her staff have been great to work with--explaining what they are doing and why. I've learned a lot about the process. They have also been very flexible with scheduling and are reasonably priced compared to other providers.

At first I was pretty skeptical of coming here, especially when I wasn't getting the results as fast as I wanted. Everyone who works here is really nice. They kept telling me if I didn't stop I would notice the changes and they were right. I was having trouble focusing on basic tasks, often getting distracted. My mind would race from thought to thought, which made sleeping difficult. Since starting my sessions here I've had issues much less frequently. The results will vary from person to person but overall I highly suggest checking them out.

It's obvious that the person giving this nonprofit bad reviews under false identities unfortunately has some growing up to do. I wish them nothing but the best. As far as this place goes however, you couldn't ask for a better place to go and get treatment especially in the neurofeedback spectrum. Tracie and her staff are some of the most caring people in that area and you really couldn't ask for a better place to get information and to legitimately feel like somebody's listening to you. I know because I did my practicum hours from the University of North Texas there as a intern specializing in
