We embrace diversity and culture in patients and team members while remaining flexible and open-minded. We utilize partnerships to find solutions for patients and emphasize accessibility and affordability.
Acute care is a great option when an injury or illness in not severe enough to visit the Emergency Room, or when your primary care physician is unavailable. Quick care services are offered for non-life threatening conditions or ailments that require prompt medical attention. If your condition could cause significant harm or death without immediate medical attention, you should seek emergency medical services instead of quick care services.

I visited Heartland Health Center for a check-up due to some allergies and a cough I'd had for a few weeks. Turns out it was a sinus infection, and the doctor not only got me some medication to help it clear up, but also gave me some advice for care at home. Everyone was professional and kind, from schedulers at the front desk, to the nurse, to the physician, and it was overall a great experience. Not at all what you might expect at a public health clinic. It felt more like a private practice, and the staff seemed happy and excited about being there and helping people feel better. Would definitely

The dental clinic is ridiculous, the front desk ladies they have are super rude in person and over the phone.. usually businesses hire people who are welcoming and professional to do front desk work, not here. They are just super hateful and I don’t understand it really. We’ve only use this office as a last resort mostly for emergency appointments nothing more. Usually the dental hygienists aren’t hard to deal with, they weren’t to terribly bad today either. The dentist we saw today was Dr. Ramirez and she was really great! I would rate her 5 stars just by herself. But it would be a better

Nurses were really nice and good with my kids. The front desk ladies were rude to me a few times. They’re really bad at answering phone calls. I’ll go in sometimes because it’s easier and they give me attitude because they prefer that I call but I don’t have time to sit and wait for them to answer. Other than that.. it’s a good place.

I came in almost a month ago with A broken tooth. The staff was very friendly and worked very hard to get me an appointment, unfortunately the work that had to be done required approval from my insurance so it took a while for it to get approved and I ended up with an infection and had to go to the ER over the weekend to get immediate treatment. When I called back this morning to make a follow up appointment and find out if my work had been approved I was told it was but they wouldn't be able to get me in for about a month. I took the appointment and the nurse ended up doing a round of confirmation

Our regular doctors office was booked for appointments quite a ways out. A friend told me about Heartland Health having the ability to get my daughter in for a sports physical and immunizations really quickly. I called and sure enough we could get in the next morning. We were insurance/self-pay customers and not in need of the income based services. However, we found the process of providing information, philanthropy of this office, and staff excellence very appealing. The professional staff, facility, costs, and short wait time was better than expected.

We left our last choice of health providers because our health is important for our children and our family, we personally prefer a place we like and enjoy to have to go when we are needing health care and we just couldn't get that vibe. But than we're blessed to have been accepted and welcomed to heartland health. The pediatrician is absolutely a delight, she was great and made the kids comfortable and not have the feeling of dread when we mention doctor. :) we are so thankful
