Established in 2011, SF REIKI CENTER is a traditional private practice and school of Reiki. We follow the traditions of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing.
Christopher Tellez is the founder of SF REIKI CENTER. Christopher teaches Reiki, as a Master Teacher, treats clients, and develops all SF REIKI CENTER programs.
He started practicing Reiki in 2010 and became a Reiki Master Teacher in 2016 after studying under Brain Brunius of NYC REIKI CENTER and completing a rigorous two-years Master Apprenticeship, 2000 hours of client sessions, and presentation of his thesis on Needs Assessment of the Bay Area Reiki Community.Christopher holds a master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and holds an LCSW.

Reiki is an ancient healing art which channels energy through the palms of the hands. This vital spiritual energy activates the natural healing processes, detoxifies the body of both physical and emotional blockages, and nurtures a state of deep relaxation and calmness. Reiki treats all the vital organs, the head, the torso, the back, and the feet.
In this 4-hour class, designed for beginners, you will learn to develop your natural intuitive abilities to help you sense a person's aura and scan their seven main chakras with your hands. You will learn to determine how the strength or weakness you feel in each chakra relates to the health and emotions of the person you are scanning.
In this 3-hour class, Reiki students will learn the Opening & Closing Spiral technique developed by Dr. W. Brugh Joy and adapted Reiki Master, John Harvey Gray. Using the Opening Spiral at the start of every Reiki treatment and the Closing Spiral at the end of each treatment will help a client to absorb more Reiki during the session and hold onto that energy for several days.

I was looking online I was very concerned of what I would end up with without having any referral and I received everything and then some from this class I plan on continuing to take the next classes in the future Christopher is wonderful professional I work at high end spas Canyon Ranch and Rosewood Sand Hill I will be able to offer this and feel confident from the training I received here I highly recommend it.

SF Reiki Center is a gem of a place in SF! I have been receiving reiki treatments from Christopher to help heal from some sleep issues as well as a lot of emotion, anxiety and grief I've been holding inside after the loss of my father. Christopher is an amazing, gentle, intuitive healer and I always leave my treatments feeling calm and balanced energetically. I'm also noticing an improvement little by little in my sleep and just a general feeling of "I can handle this" rather than the stress, hopelessness and dread I had been previously experiencing.

I just completed the Reiki First Degree class with Christopher Tellez and cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his master candidate Ann! I highly recommend him and the SF Reiki Center...you can feel the love and care, and have full confidence in his ability to teach and relate the important intentions behind the technique and training. If you are considering getting Reiki, or learning Reiki from Christopher DO IT. Take my review as a SIGN and do it. I decided to take Reiki after having a lot of spiritual experiences. I lost my job last year due to covid. I also developed a pain disorder. I started meditating every day to relieve the pain. I had the pleasure of taking my Reiki 1 class with Dave Hadley this past weekend and he was great. I was blessed to have one on one experience due to COVID and not having anyone sign up the same time. Dave really took his time with great amount of patience, and loving energy to teach me what I needed to learn to be able to do Reiki I healing on myself and loved ones. He took all precautions in following COVID protocols to keep us safe and secure. I would recommend this to anyone interested in learning Reiki energy healing and connectedness to the universe.

I enjoyed my Reiki training with Christopher. He's a sweet kind soul and a great teacher. He created a comfortable environment to practice and ask questions. I never once felt that I didn't belong there. I enjoyed my lessons with him and feel so much more connected to my understanding of Reiki, including the history and how to use Reiki energy.

I recently completed Level I Reiki training. Christopher and my wonderful classmates created a safe space to learn, ask questions, and practice. I am so grateful for Christopher and his Reiki I training - I feel so much more connected to my own energy and excited to continue on with II degree, as well as volunteer at his clinic.
I am sooo glad I chose this specific center and teacher, Christopher is very tuned in to the history of Reiki and his Reiki lineage. Learning the history and the masters before him was so vital.
His work is very authentic to the tradition and I appreciate that under this lineage, it takes years of training to become a Master.

Absolutely amazing experience with my reiki session with Priscilla. She has such an amazing and genuine energy, and she did amazing work on me that's had lasting effects. I feel tremendously better even now a week after my treatment. It helped my anxiety and body chemistry recalibrate. I will def return when I'm back in the area.

A two day course leaving me more grounded, energized & confident each day.
Christopher was welcoming, kind & extremely sensitive to my needs. During very emotional moments, he was very comforting to me personally & to others in the class.
The treatment itself is unbelievable since I have had lower left-sided pain intermittent during the day & present almost every night awakening me in sleep for approx 6 months.

I absolutely LOVED my recent Reiki session with Christopher! And coming from someone that typically only gravitates toward deep tissue or Active Release Therapy type sessions...that "LOVED" means a lot!
I had been wrestling with quite a few growing pains lately in my head and body.
