This is the worse daycare! Do not bring your children here! The staff is great but the boss has no concern for your child. They allow kids to come to school with a 102 fever and you have to fight to send them home for their safety and the other kids. She will also allow them to come back the next day even though the protocol is that the child has to be fever free for 24 hours. There have been so many illness going around and the newest one is hand foot and mouth. The boss allows children to come in covered in blisters without a doctors note and during their most infectious time! her reasons as

"Don't judge a book by it's cover." They're not even close to being as good as they look. Nor do they care about the children and they have teachers who barely know how to handle them. The owner only cares about the money and on my child's last day she had even said, "it's about business." Wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone. Along with the incompetency, I had picked up my child from school and when I went to change him out of his school clothes, I found red marks close together. I had asked my child what had happened. Terrible. Our child had separation anxiety upon morning drop off and they made us feel like there was something wrong mentally with our child and forced us to have a psych evaluation on him and note from dr saying it is ok for child to return.
Dr not only said our child was fine and that behavior is totally normal, but the daycare owners were ill prepared if they did not recognize this and total a-holes for making by us go for evaluation.
I would not recommend this daycare to anyone.

Sung Star has excellent kindergarten and first grade programs. To start, you get small class sizes with dedicated and experienced teachers. The curriculum follows the NJCCS and the CCS for ELA and Mathematics. World language, electives, physical education, karate, health, library, etc. all included in the curriculum. Teachers prepare developmentally appropriate lessons that incorporate the use of technology and cooperative learning. Individualized assistance/direct instruction are provided as needed. This place at one time was the best in Toms River and now it has become about making money and not following the very program they sell you on when you walk in. The staff changes on a weekly basis aids and teachers alike. just because you are told you are getting a degreed teacher does not mean that in fact more than likely you are getting an aide making minimum wage. In Oct we decided to take out child out and they continued to charge us (including the 2 weeks they were closed because of the storm) and then informed us we could not get our security back.
