Andrew (AJ) Heiligman started ACES Energy in 2009 with the goal of introducing sustainable heating and cooling practices to the people of Western New York. AJ holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, is an IGSHPA Accredited Geothermal installer and a founding member of NY Geo.
Zack has been with ACES for almost half a decade! In his time with ACES he has grown his knowledge of geothermal heating and cooling, and solar PV. You can find Zack in the office ensuring day-to-day operations are going as planned, or out in the field checking in on current jobs. In his spare time, Zack enjoys tending to his farm.

Couldn’t ask for more from a start to finish process. Going solar was able cover 100% of my electric costs so made it a no brain decision. AJ came out and explained how everything would work, how the process of installation would happen, and was on site to make sure everything went smoothly. After fully shopping around and talking with competitors, it was a clear choice to go with ACES. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to going GEO soon!

ACES installed our solar power system in 2019 and we have been benefitting on our electric bill ever since. AJ and his crew were efficient and professional onsite. It was very convenient to have ACES take care of all the paperwork for the NYSERDA and government incentives too. We also like that ACES sources high quality American made panels. Highly recommend ACES; and have referred several friends and family for solar and geothermal over the past several years.
