Interstate Truck Repair, Inc. was started in 2003 by owners, Jon & Vicki Blomme. In 2006 ITR built and opened their new shop at 4190 Hwy 21. We are a family-owned business where customer service & a wealth of knowledge is of key importance to us. Our staff is friendly and experienced. We pride ourselves on our ability to go the extra mile to ensure the job is completed right the first time at a fair and competitive rate.

We offer prompt and courteous service in the shop as well as offering tow services and roadside assistance. Our location is conveniently located at the 201 exit off of I-80 across Hwy 21 from the Kwik Star Travel Plaza.

They charged 225.00 labor for less then an hour working on the truck. A job that they didn't even have all the tools to do from what Jon the owner told me himself. Then After taking the truck to Truck Country in Cedar Rapids Ia they didn't even put the drive shaft back together and it cost me more for freightliner to.move it in the shop and put it back. Yes they let me leave my trailer there for 4 days with out charge. BUT WHY WOULD A SHOP even say they would look at a truck if they didn't have the tools to work on an engine.

I was at Victor rest area , they came within 30min , then they put drive shuft and u-joints together all done in twohours. Excellent service!

Quality shop here for sure !! Clean and very organized and quick service. They do things right the FIRST time every time. Jon has a GOOD bunch that works here and they do what they say they will do. This is one of the best Big truck repair shops I have used here in Iowa!
