We can then get a CAT scan to "check our work." The patient does not leave the operating room until we are sure the surgical result is perfect. Minimally invasive spine surgery gets the job done precisely without unnecessary muscle and tissue damage. This means patients often go home the day of surgery or the following day, rather than staying in the hospital for several days.

In December 2018, Dr. Miller and his team performed surgery on my cervical spine to replace a disc and remove bone spurs. I'd been putting surgery off since my first MRI in 2003, so my symptoms had gotten pretty severe. Within weeks after surgery, I was symptom and pain free, and I now have full range of motion again. I couldn't be more pleased.

I've been in eminence pain for over 9 months now. I had my MRI done over 9 months ago and several Doctors have looked at the MRI, NOT one Doctor has given me any hope, saying they didn't see why I was having chronic pain I was experiencing. I heard Dr. Peter Miller was the man, and I'm so glad I made the appointment with him. I was told not to bring the Radiologist report, only bring the CD of the MRI. After his staff interviewed me and Dr. Miller interviewed me and read my MRI, behold, he showed me the nerve that was causing my problems!! He sent me for another Xray to confirm his diagnosis. I

I’m 78 years old. My surgery lasted 12 hours. The surgery was very intense, it involved 5 vertebrae, replacement of 4 disc, and calcium on 1 vertebrae that required 6 hour removal along with a pinched nerve. I was immediately pain free and remain so 4 weeks later. Dr. Miller, Whitney and his team were very informative of what to expect and there were no surprises. I highly recommend this team.

Dr. Miller has a way of making his patients feel welcomed and very relaxed. He is very concerned with your well being. He listens and hears your concerns and let’s you know what the next steps are to address your situation. I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked through the front door. The staff must have been screened and not just placed in a position. Hands down everyone knows their position and they do not miss a best. Please if you have a referral else where check Dr. Miller out first and get your best care in Mooresville and Statesville.

Dr. Miller and his staff are wonderful, before and after surgery. Dr. Miller goes over and shows you everything he will be doing prior to the surgery. I had fusion with rod and screws, disc replacement and bone spurs removed all with very small incisions, you are up and walking the day after. It has been 6 months now and I have absolutely no pain now and had very little after the first week of surgery. I had lived with the pain for so long I did not realize how bad it really was until after the surgery and realize how great I feel now. I can do anything I want to now, no pain getting up and down

After 6yrs of pain and 5 other back surgeons, to no avail....i heard about Dr.Miller from a young man who had just had surgery on his L-5 three days before I met at a store here in Statesville. I called and got an appointment with Dr.Miller in late May of 2017....from that point on,Dr.Miller and staff at Iredell Neurospine gave me the best medical advice and professional services that I had ever received in dealing with neurosurgeons Dr.Miller and staff took the necessary time to make sure that my wife and I were well educated in the serious process that I was going to have to undergo. He didn
