Sound Wave DJ

Preston was our dj for our wedding, and we could not have picked anyone better. We were so happy from start to finish. He is very helpful, kind and quick to respond back to any questions you may have before the big day. Him and his assistance made everything run so smoothly on our wedding night. They kept the dance floor flowing and knew exactly what song to choose next to make everyone happy and dancing all night long. We had Preston DJ our wedding this past week and throughout the whole process he was really responsive always answering my questions and helped me out with song suggestions when I needed them.
On the day of the event they were prompt and showed up on time and dealt with us and our delay but kept things running. Throughout the event they kept great communication super friendly, professional and the music was great. All of the guests loved the music and wished the dancing and night could’ve kept going all night. I highly recommend reaching out to Preston and you won’t have any regrets.

Preston was our dj and he was terrific.  He had an assistant there with him that helped coordinate with my coordinator and she was wonderful as well, super sweet.  Preston was always responsive and never made me feel like I was a bother to him even with my constant emails and changes. He was flexible when we had to make our last minute move inside because of the heat wave, literally 30 minutes before the ceremony wonderful Playlist that had a little something for everyone.  Well worth it, would recommend.

DJ Preston did a fantastic job DJing our wedding on 06.27.2020! First off, their fee was very reasonable for the quality of service provided. I got to communicate directly with Preston throughout the whole process, so I felt like he got to know what type of music we like very well.
He took a few of my song suggestions and made an amazing playlist for my wedding with guests' ages ranging from 19-93 (yes, 93!). Everyone enjoyed the music. We decided a little late in the planning process to have DJ for our wedding. We were very lucky to find someone with our date open. Preston was wonderful to work with in all the preparation. He was responsive and kept us on track. At the wedding ceremony and reception he and his assistant were beyond perfect! They kept everything to our schedule and were a huge help to our day! I cannot believe we almost skipped having this important role filed by a professional. Our wedding would have been much more stressful. DJ Preston and his assistant recently DJed our wedding, and I had to write a review which I rarely do because they rocked it!! Our venue was kind of an odd layout, but Preston was able to keep our large families dancing through the last song (even tho we had to move tables to create a dance floor). I was a little nervous since my family is not big on dancing but once the booze were flowing and Preston kept dropping all the right music, they were out there too!! The BEST! Preston DJed our wedding at Tumwater Ballroom and we could NOT have been happier! He was professional, courteous, and played exactly what we were after. I sent him a few songs before and he played them throughout the night, which showed he actually listened and cared about what we wanted! Hire Sound Wave if you want a great service and a better price for what you get. We looked at other DJs and some want several hundred dollars more and don't even provide lights!! We hired Sound Wave for our big day last summer and they had good communication right from the beginning. Preston was our DJ and he made it clear that he would be as involved or hands-off as we wanted. He only suggest things that we asked him about (after making it clear he would be happy to help with anything leading up our wedding) and it was perfect!

We had a great experience with Preston and his assistant, for our holiday party. They were prompt and on time. We had great communication leading up to the event, and great music played. He was very flexible in some last minute changes, and willing to announce for our lip sync battle! He played great music, and we had lots of people dancing! We would definitely hire him again.
