Odegaard's Sewing Center

Not a big selection of fabric, which I was looking for, but exceptional customer service and a big variety of sewing machines. I did end up buying a fat quarter.

I went in and immediately felt an "off" feeling and even though I should have listened to my instinct, I wanted to see all the fabrics and sewing machines since I am a novice and am in the market for a beginner friendly sewing machine. I continued to walk around but kept feeling "off" for some reason but decided to just keep looking at the fabrics, unitl I noticed what was making me feel off, it was because I was being followed by what I assumed a manager or owner of the store, but considering the other employee didn't seem to greet me or acknowledge me when I walked in, so I felt it odd, when

My wife is a quilter, she loves going in there. According to her they have a very good selection, super helpful and friendly owners and staff and great pricing of what they sell. Two thumbs up!

Very helpful and friendly staff. I love this fabric store because it also has a unique fabric selection. You cant find these fabrics in other stores. I like that because this makes my projects one of a kind!

Needed repair parts and Charlie was extremely knowledgeable and identified the machines and the parts needed. Not in stock but he ordered to get the ladies going again.

This place has lots of quilting and embroidery products.
I visited to check for sewing machine repair and could not help cause more complicated work..and I needed a new foot pedal and no help ...compared to stitches in camp verde...which they showed me how and got it running.
Nice place to buy items they have almost everything.

I was referred to Odegaard's by a young man named Nate. And it was fabulous! They had many team fabrics that I didn't have. I rarely need a yard of most teams so I was like a kid in a candy store. The women I talked to were so friendly and helpful. Then when I got home and was sorting my bounty I found a nice ruler with Odegaard's store info on it. What a nice surprise!
I have to say I love Flagstaff. Everywhere we went there were such nice people and I will return to stay a few days. And but more fabric!

My wife has been searching for a place like this for years. Great customer service and a knowledgable staff. They have a large variety of machines for sale that are on open display for you to use. You can sit down and try the different stitching patterns on a variety of different materials so that you can get a good feel for the machine before making a purchase. This is a HUGE plus, and is definitely one of the best features about shopping here. You can feel confident that you are making the right purchase when coming here.

My mom and I have been coming here for years. We've always been treated so well by the staff there. I recently brought my serger and two sewing machines up from PHOENIX for service. Yes, I have choices in the Phoenix met area but I drive all the way to Flagstaff because the folks at Odegaards are THAT good. They're fair in their pricing and honest in their feedback and I love that. The selection of fabric is fabulous, machines are available in all different price ranges, and the quality and variety of sewing supplies beats any other fabric store I've yet to find in the state. If you don't go in - they are little to no help via e mail or phone. Had a couple of questions on availability and pricing on machines - received curt replies (still no answer to my questions). Wanted to shop local but just ordered $9,000 worth of sewing equipment from amazon. (2 juki sergers, juki sewing machine, brother embroidery machine)

Loved this place. Our first visit and there was so much there it look at and see I spent over an hour there. They had a lot of panels for quilt making and their fabrics are lovely. Can't wait to go back! One note: there is parking in the back which we didn't know but would be easier.

The employees are very quick to recognize your presence and they take time to discuss your project and help you find fabrics and help you figure out how much fabric you need without over purchasing. That is very helpful to me as a beginner quilter. I wish they weren't so expensive and that they had a larger stock of fabric designs that are not Native American in style. That being said I really like the fabrics that they DO have that are not Native American designs. If I can't find the notion or sewing accessory I need at Joanne or Michael's I can usually find it here. I've not

Love this store! Great service and help from the owners Charlie and Van. Excellent knowledge of most machines, and have been able to resolve most of my machine problems the same day. Great help with new machine sales. I could not ask for a better selection of fabrics on the mountain. Thanks guys great job.

Love this store. Wonderful parking lot behind the store with easy access to the store from the parking lot. Called ahead and they were were able to clean 4 sewing machines in one day since we came from Phoenix. Several hours at the new casino and the machines were done. So nice of them to do that..love the store and it's worth the ride to have expert care for sewing machines and to check out the new fabric and "stuff". Would gladly wait a week or two for my machine just to have them work on it.

Negative all around. For starters, the parking lot is small and right off a busy road. Parking stalls are angled and narrow and there aren't many of them.

I can't say I had a good or pleasant experience here. One week ago I dropped off my sewing machine, explaining that it was skipping stitches and needed the timing fixed. The guy told me it would be "a couple of days".

A week later, I had not received a quote estimating how much it would cost or a phone call with any word whatsoever about my machine and called them to see how it was going. The lady said that "he
