The patriarch of Winder Glass is our father George. Dad started in the glass business in his teen years as an apprentice. Learning from his mistakes and acquiring the Old World Skills and Techniques of an Master Craftsman. As any Father does, he instilled these skills and ethic into his son Rodney at the tender age of ten as his right hand man.
When Rodney came of age Dad decided to establish Winder Glass in 1982. Shortly after, his daughter Christie joined the team to managing the office with her future husband as an installer. We pride ourselves in being a true Family business with the third generation on the way. Our Father always said the harder you work the luckier you will get.

No job too BIG or SMALL and we guarantee that most repairs can be completed in just one day. Winder Glass can diagnose whether a fogged IGU window can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced.

My experience with Winder Glass was extremely positive. Very affordable. The repairmen were very professional and respectful. I got to talk to Ms. Christie on several occasions, and she was beyond magnificent; she'd kept me posted, all throughout the repair process. I truly appreciate Winder Glass's exceptional services. Great people to work with! So nice to have, not only professional, but honest to goodness, down to earth people to provide a service. They ordered the glass for two windows and when it came in, they came out quickly and did a fantastic job in no time flat! I absolutely will call them again, when the need arises. Poor Communication ...
I called and set up for an install quote, they arrived on time and measured for four projects. This is where is all went downhill.
Two of the projects are BASIC (framed shower doors and a glass replacement in a French door), the other two are complex.
I was told they would have a quote in a few days. After a week I contacted them, then took another two weeks for them to finally say they can't do any of the projects ... even the simple ones.
Stay Away!!!
