Have to say, this might be the nicest RV Park we've visited in Idaho. Lush green grass, water and power hookups with a dump site available. Clean bathroom/shower house, a wonderful gift shop, and a large laundry room. A comfy sitting area with computers and television occupies one end of the lodge.
Will definitely return next year on our way to Challis for the Braun Brothers Reunion Concert.

Wagon hammer was one of the better RV parks we've ever stayed at. The spaces are really big and there's plenty of room with trees and grass.

Really nice park. Definitely would return. Nice and clean restrooms laundry area clean. The front row on the river really nice but no sewer hookups. We had full hookups but the trees in this area are really a mess. Flowering Plum berries made a real mess of table and patio area. Very nice staff!

Decent park next to the Salmon River. Clean bathrooms and showers. Place isn't real kid friendly, but of you have dogs they will enjoy the large off leash island.

This camp site is very nice. Easy to pull in even with a big rig. The people running the desk and management were really who made the experience awesome though. We booked for two nights and ended up having to leave early because my son got sick. The management kindly refunded the second day due to the circumstance even though it was clearly part of their policies. I didn't expect them to be so generous but the favor will be remembered and I'll be sure to recommend them to all my friends and family! I'll also be returning next summer. Thanks Wagonhammer!

This park is located in the most beautiful area surrounded by mountains that are home to all kinds of birds and animals. The park it's self is a wonderful property staffed with friendly and kind people.
You will be made to feel right at home before you even get to your site.
If you bring along your dog make sure to go to Dog Island. It is a wonderful spot where you can take off the leash and explore. A small word of caution, keep an eye on the pace of the river as it can run fast in the spring.
There are so many things to do and see in the area. If you are a history buff, Lewis and Clark were

Loved this campground for it's location on the Salmon River. Beautiful night sky, wildlife. Owners and Camp Hosts were warm and friendly and helpful. Only down side was no TV, spotty wifi and little to no cell service. But, if you're looking for a quiet getaway the views are STUNNING.

Stayed here 6 nights at a site along the Salmon river. ABSOLUTELY beautiful. We opted for a river site with just water and power with dump station close by. Staff was great and friendly. Office has gift shop and laundry room. Restrooms and showers clean and tidy. Wifi was ok. Wonderful neighbors. Stayed in a travel trailer at site 34.

The absolute worst idea I had my entire trip to salmon.. we showed up and were greeted with smiles they locked us in I paid up front then went to pick my trailer up to bring back and hook up 30 minutes after some weasel came up with the camp host asked how many of my kids were over 6 I told him all of them were over 6 why?? He then told me I needed to go pay an extra 6.50 a child per day... I asked why was I not charged this already he said they may have not known or seen them they were all in the office with my wife and I when we paid the first time... they all told me there were no fish in the
