My journey into skincare and makeup artistry began when I was drawn to art as a child. I was always meticulous about coloring inside the lines and making note of every tiny detail. After struggling with my own skin issues and trying different techniques to hide blemishes, I began experimenting with cosmetics.
A trial gives you a chance to describe your vision on how you want to look on your big day. It also gives me the opportunity to work with you to bring it to life! Most of my clients prefer a natural, classic and polished bridal look, and many usually don't wear cosmetics on a daily basis, but it's up to you to determine your style.

I had never taken the time to seek professional help for my skin. When I decided to try an esthetician, I looked at all the reviews and they led me to Yumi. I wanted to be sure to advise anyone in my situation to use her services without hesitation. The facility is so clean and professional, and Yumi is outstanding at what she does and in educating. I've had two facials, a skin irregularities treatment and a deep peel. The difference in my appearance cannot be exaggerated. My husband can't stop commenting on how much brighter and healthier my skin looks. It's such an uplifting experience

I went somewhere else to get lash extensions for the first time and did not have a good experience - pain the entire time getting them done and afterward because they weren’t put on right. I was nervous to try lash extensions again, but after seeing all the glowing reviews, I tried YMK Aesthetics, and I’m SO glad that I did. It was such a great experience. It was so relaxing, and my lashes turned out perfect, and I’m so happy with the results. I would absolutely recommend, and I will be coming again in the future!

Just had my wedding with Yumi a few days ago and I had such a strong urge to come back and share my experience and thoughts. I've been going to get monthly facials with Yumi for about 9 months leading up to the wedding (which I highly recommend for all her brides). I have gone twice now and each time, my face feels refreshed and soft! So much options for skincare facials as well as products. For my wedding, I was avoiding a one-stop-shop. Everyone I known had gone that route and there's always someone who's unhappy with the outcome. I wanted a makeup artist who knew makeup and did it well. Yumi was so amazing to work with! She really brings her A game and I've had the pleasure of running into her again when she's done make up for my friends' weddings. She def comes with a long list of referrals. During our initial trial, I showed her some pics of what I was looking for. Then, she guided me in finding the right color palette for my skin tone/hair color. I'm happy that we went with a slightly taupe-y color rather than a dark smokey that I originally thought I wanted. Trust the reviews and book an appointment with Yumi (: My first appointment with Yumi was for the Keratin Lash Lift + Tint. TBH I was a bit hesitant to go through with it since my lashes are super short and I wasn't sure if I would even see a difference but she set my expectation straight and gave me her honest opinion before we got started. My results were subtle (which I was well aware of) but I definitely notice the lift in my lashes and I couldn't be happier with it! With her recommendation, I am now adding the GrandeLASH serum into my routine and hoping my lashes will start to grow

I recently went to Yumi to get a lash tint & lift and I am so happy with the results. I was honestly a little hesitant at first because I've never done a last tint/lift & only had lash extensions for the longest time. However, now that I see the results of what Yumi did with my natural lashes, I think I might stick to this treatment instead. She is the absolute kindest, most knowledgeable professional who gives her clients her all & seriously knows what she's doing/talking about. Like most women out there, I have been dreaming of my wedding day since the day I was born. Since my wedding day fell on my birthday, I knew i had to look FABULOUS and boy did Yumi deliver. I have worked with Yumi before (as a bridesmaid but never the bride). I knew the day I got engaged that I would need Yumi to be a part of my big day. She arrived 15 min before she said she would arrive and she managed to make my whole bridal party (6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers,1 aunt, 1 grandma & 1 bride) look absolutely stunning. 5 solid stars on Yelp with 70 reviews? Is that even a thing? I'm thankful to have experienced Yumi's incredible talents and I'm happy to report that she meets the hype. I've had my make up professionally done several times in the past, however, out of all my experiences, Yumi tops them all.

Yumi is an amazing make-up artist! I first met Yumi through a make-up session. Not only was Yumi professional and passionate about what she was doing, she also was patient and personable! She knew what would look naturally beautiful on me and was able to kindly guide me through each step to put on a great make-up with clear instructions.

Yumi was hired to do make-up for my best friends wedding. She did the bride, all her bridesmaids and the mother of the bride! A lot of work for one person, but did it. She was very professional, very sweet and she really listened to each person on preference of look and problem areas to enhance features. I personally don’t wear a lot of makeup so I prefer the less is more look. She did a great job and it looked natural. She even taught me tips and tricks on applying makeup. The bride looked gorgeous on her wedding day. We were all very pleased with how our makeup turned out. I would highly recommend

Yumi is AMAZING! My original wedding got cancelled because of the pandemic, but we had a small backyard wedding when my state reopened to allow for small outdoor gatherings. Yumi knew exactly what to do to help me feel beautiful on my wedding day. She is professional, kind, and very talented in what she does. She’s so much fun to work with, and it was such a treat to have her do my makeup.
