Services
Harrison Spring Cabin rests on the banks of Harrison Spring and overlooks Blue River. As the water from the spring is always 54 degrees, it really moderates the temperature around the cabin. The cabin is furnished in a river camp atmosphere and features a full bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, electric stove, exterior gas grills, A/C and heat, indoor and outdoor dining areas, screened porch, and a riverside campfire circle.
Cardinal House Lodge rests on the banks of Blue River in a park-like setting, offering easy private river access. A large screened porch wraps around two sides of the building and provides space to dine, gather with guests, or watch the river. An interior large circular fireplace offers additional gathering opportunities in an open family room setting.
First discovered by Squire Boone, Daniel Boone's brother, Blue River is one of only three Indiana rivers on the national Natural Scenic River list. It starts in Washington County and flows between and through Harrison County and Crawford County on the way to joining the Ohio River. Over 50 miles of the river are popular for canoe and kayak trips.
We live Along the Blue River ourselves. We are proud to have the opportunity to provide people with the chance to experience the place we love best. We stayed at the Harrison Spring Cabin. This is such a beautiful location! You are sitting right on the river. We were so lucky, our first night it stormed and the water was rushing by the porch and it was just amazing. The owner is extremely nice and easy to talk to. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the water out of the tap smelled pretty bad. All of us didn't shower the whole 3 days, we pretty much treated it like camping. They did provide a cooler filled with fresh water though for drinking and it lasted us the whole time. Overall, I will definetly rent this cabin again
