Services
Alyssa was born and raised in San Diego and has always had a passion for skincare, hair removal, and making people feel good about themselves. She attended school at Bellus Academy where she received her Esthetician License in 2016 and became certified in sugaring in 2018. When Alyssa isn't working you'll find her outdoors somewhere on a hike or hanging with friends and family!
Depending on the service, Sea Salt & Skin offers sugar wax, soft wax or hard wax for a more thorough and enjoyable experience. Our most popular service, the Brazilian Bikini wax removes all of the hair from the standard bikini line, the labia and as much or as little of the top as you'd like. Inner Backside is complimentary.

This salon is so clean and inviting! I love the vibe here and the owner, Alyssa, is so kind and accommodating! She is extremely good at what she does and ALWAYS provides the highest quality service. She is the only esthetician I will ever see, and Sea Salt & Skin is worth the drive to Point Loma! 10/10 would recommend!

I can't say enough great things about the ladies at SS&S. I've been a regular of Alyssa's for a few years and have always appreciated her sweet disposition and skillful sugar wax skills. I needed to get in today but Alyssa wasn't free so Madison squeezed me into Sierra's schedule. Wow! She's just as fantastic as Alyssa. Hair removal is a snap with the sugar pros of SS&S. I won't go anywhere else.

I now see why Sea Salt has such amazing reviews. Wanting to try a Brazilian for the first time, I was magically able to make a same day appointment. Samantha worked on me using a sugar wax (can't compare to the normal wax as this was my first) and within 30 minutes I was bare. She helped me feel welcome and was super kind and talked with me to distract my mind. I have already booked a new appointment with her and highly recommend Sea Salt.

Sea Salt & Skin Waxing Salon has got to be one of the cutest, if not THE cutest salon here in San Diego. The salon ambiance is so cute and stylish with a hint of beachy relaxation. Not only do they offer a handful of services, but their employees go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. I got a spray tan done by Alyssa, who was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable by walking me through the whole thing, all for a great price! I will definitely be returning and spreading the word of Sea Salt & Skin to all of my friends!

I'm usually very hesitant with where I go for waxing, and for that reason it has been awhile since I've gone anywhere new! Immediately when I walked into the clean, bright space, it feels welcoming and the owner was there to greet me, which isn't always the case in a lot of salons.
Alyssa did a great job with my brows and it was an easy experience overall. I also loved that I was able to book online, a huge bonus for someone who is always on the move like me. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially as a Point Loma local who prefers to not have to leave the point. I'll definitely be back
