Stress-tek provides expert application analysis, sensor design, mechanical sensor production, strain gage assembly, calibration and testing. Our load cells are used in a wide range of industries and applications, including Aerospace, Automotive, Transportation, Off-Road Vehicle, Medical, Oil & Gas, Agricultural, Industrial and many others.

Stress-tek has decades of technical expertise. Our stress analysis services using Photoelasticity offers a unique way to visualize stresses on actual parts and components under service loads. Photoelastic stress analysis allows us to step aside from the assumptions required in engineering calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to obtain actual data that shows the real state of stress.
Services
Stress-tek has extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of strain gage based sensors and load cells, applying strain gages to element bodies and providing stress analysis services. We have complete in-house capability in engineering, machining, assembly, and testing. Stress-tek was founded in 1978 to provide professional consulting services in the areas of strain gaging, transducer design, and experimental stress analysis.
Every strain gage application requires expertise and experience with a unique understanding of the strain gage measurement requirements within the application environment. Strain gages bonded to Airbus landing gear components. This gaged part tests landing gear readiness and assess actual load magnitudes transmitted through landing gear components.
Stress-tek engineers work with our customers to develop specialty load cells matched to their requirements. We interface with our customers throughout the design, development and prototype stages. Our capabilities include mechanical design and analysis, prototyping, part procurement, assembly and testing.
