I am an Enrolled Agent - a federally licensed tax specialist. My services include tax consultation and tax preparation for both individuals and businesses. If you're starting a new business, I can help you choose the tax entity that will be most beneficial and can provide payroll and bookkeeping services.

As an Enrolled Agent, I can ensure that your tax forms will be complete and accurate, and you will have confidence and peace of mind knowing that your returns are filed correctly. I will also be there for you if the IRS were to question how your return was prepared. Millions of tax returns are filed each year.
Services
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a Tax Professional. Enrolled Agents are federally-authorized tax practitioners who are knowledgeable in all facets of the tax code and who are empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.
These are just a few of the questions you will need to answer if you try to file your taxes yourself or if you use an online "free service". Make a mistake with any of these questions, or hundreds of others, and you could pay too much to Uncle Sam. I will accurately prepare all federal individual forms and schedules.
I can also help you properly determine what your full profit or loss is when you sell something. Are you getting the most out of properly depreciating rental or business assets? The issue of estimating your tax liability is also an area where I help you. Did you know that the IRS will penalize you if you do not pay in enough of your tax liability through withholding or estimated taxes?
Many taxpayers are relieved when they've gotten their refund check, because they assume it means the IRS has checked over their return, everything's okay, and therefore they won't be audited. This is totally wrong. While the IRS now withholds portions of refunds due to the discovery of obviously erroneous deductions, the issuance of a refund has no bearing on whether you will be audited.
So what recordkeeping system should you use? According to the IRS, you may choose any recordkeeping system that clearly shows your income and expenses. I can help make this choice easier by showing you different software applications that can assist you with this task. Except in a few cases, the IRS does not require any special kind of records, nor do they endorse any particular brand of software.
