The knowledgeable staff at Hampstead Optometry is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
Dr. Lori graduated optometry school from Salus University and went on to complete a Primary Care/Ocular Disease residency at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. She is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. She has held licenses to practice optometry in PA, NJ, TX, CA, SC, and NC. She has practiced in various ophthalmologic and optometric settings.
Dr. Farabaugh and the Hampstead Optometry team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Hampstead patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation.

Awesome experience. They were able to get an appointment for me next day. The girls at the front desk were very knowledgeable about insurance and really helpful. The doctor was nice and efficient. The glasses guy was really helpful and had my best interests in mind. Office was clean and up to date on all equipment. Absolutely no complaints. Will be my new optometrist hands down.

This place was awesome! On Sunday, I had dropped my glasses and stepped on them, which left scratch marks on both lenses. Since I'm new to the area, I googled optometrists near me and came across Hampstead Optometry. I called them at 9:03 on a Monday morning, hoping I could get seen within the month. I was told they had a 2 pm cancellation and was able to see them that day. Everyone was so kind and efficient. I got my much needed eye exam, ordered my glasses and received a text later that day advising me that my glasses were ready. Wow, impressive. I don't write alot of reviews but, I felt compelled

First visit with Dr. Lori, and she and her staff were great! Dr. Lori is kind, patient and thorough. I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and patient care. I was fully informed of the costs and even advised of the less costly option, out of pocket, since I wear both contacts and glasses. I am very appreciative of the consideration and care I received, from both a business and healthcare impression.
