Since I moved to San Antonio, I have been looking for someone I can trust with my hair. It’s been 2 years and I have tried so many salons. Finally after a long search I found Aklounge. I got my hair done by Cedar, she’s extremely talented and knowledgeable about hair color. She advised me well and we decided on doing baby lights . The color came out amazing and I absolutely love it. I am so satisfied with the whole experience.

My first visit to AK Lounge was for a Brazilian blowout with Cedar Gray. She addressed all of my concerns and made me feel very confident with my decision. I was so caught off guard with how amazing it looked and felt. I could not believe it.
Well, I made the mistake of not wanting to push my luck for the first visit and decided to wait on getting a trim. This is typical for those of us that have had multiple bad hair experiences. Cedar did my hair. I had a great experience with her she really knows how to work with long hair. She made my hair feel so much lighter. I can’t wait for my headaches to go away. Cedar is excellent. She did my Brazilian blowout. I just love it and her. She is the first stylist that I have had who has taken time to go over detail instructions on hair care tips to maintain my BB. She really seems to enjoy what she does and is very talented in her profess. If you want a friendly, professional, and loyal stylist, Cedar is the one. I am so grateful I found her.

I can't say enough about AK Lounge! It is very clean, the stylists are really friendly and very skilled. I had a new cut from Cedar and wow did she do a good job! I love my hair! I get pretty nervous during haircuts, but she did a great job of really listening to what I wanted and created it beautifully. She also gave me great tips and suggestions for how to take better care of my hair. Loved my experience with her and with AK Lounge!

Cedar Gray did an amazing job with my hair. I really couldn't be happier with the results. She was very detailed and took the time to do everything right. I showed her what I wanted and my hair turned out to be just like that and actually better. I had not colored my hair in years because of bad experiences I had had but after meeting Cedar I will surely continue doing this. I highly recommend her. She is great and is always willing to work with your schedule.

Thank you so much to Denise for giving me my dream hair color. I had always gone to this salon to do balayage and had worked with a different stylist, sadly that stylist left but I wanted to stay with the salon because it was originally what I had searched when I was looking for "the best salon in San Antonio". When I booked with Denise I was so nervous but she was truly the most kind hearted and THE MOST TALENTED stylist I have ever met. I couldn’t get into my regular stylist for color, cut and Brazilian Blowout. After reading many reviews I decided to try AK LOUNGE. It was easy to schedule. I was asked to send a photo that reflected my current color and hair texture so that I could be assigned to the most appropriate stylist. I have grey curly, easy to frizz hair and am growing out a short many layered cut.
I had the great good fortune to be scheduled with Ceder Gray! She is very knowledgeable and skilled and has a wonderful disposition. A lovely human who takes true interest in her clients.

I'm getting married in a couple weeks so I wanted to get teeth whitening before the big day. I showed up to the salon 30 minutes before my appointment and didn't have to wait which was awesome. The salon inside is very artistic and the layout is nice. My technician was Gwendolyn and she was very welcoming, she was very thorough on what to except and how long it was going to take. I got before and after photos and she showed them to me at the end and I was able to see the difference. My overall experience was great and I recommend this place for teeth whitening

I chose this place for cut and color after reading all the reviews. I must say I was not disappointed. Jordyn was amazing!! I had very long hair and virgin hair. I wanted my look to be freshened up but nothing too drastic. I sent Jordyn some inspiration picture from Pinterest and she got the color to match the pictures exactly. She gave me a beautiful haircut, couldnt have been happier. Will definitely be back.

I had my teeth whitened by Gwen and I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences ever!! The atmosphere was so relaxing and Gwen did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I do not have the stratiest of smiles, but there was absolutely no judgment. I will be returning again and again. Thank you Gwen, I have more confidence when I smile now!!

For someone who has very thick dark hair, it can be hard for me to find a stylist that truly lightens my hair with little damage. However each time I've left Victoria's chair, I'm left mesmerized with how good it feels and how she manages to capture the inspo I present to her so well! She's incredibly easy to talk as a stylist and even as a friend and I truly look forward to getting my hair done by Vic! Definitely will be coming back to AK and am excited to see the the hair journey Victoria will take me.

I hate to rate this a one star because I love the vibe that Victoria gave she was really nice . However she did seem a bit confused with my hair consultation. I ask her before she washed my hair that I wanted to cut my hair shoulder length . Once she finish washing my hair I re mentioned I wanted to cut my hair shoulder length , needless to say I ended with a bob. This is not what I wanted at all , at the end I notice my hair from one side was shorter then the other side she attempted to fix it but the front of the left side of my hair is now shorter then the right . She gave me the price for
