Services
Altar has been created as a sacred space for the creative expression of ourselves through tattooing in combination with the healing modality of Reiki and energy medicine. Altar supports our spiritual and creative well being by also providing healing sessions and readings, as well as classes and retail items to generate expanded consciousness, clarity and inner peace.
I am an intuitive Tattoo artist, medium, healer and coach that combines the healing energies of Reiki and Shamanic practices into the art and transformational process of tattooing. Tattooing allows me to have a creative outlet that keeps me growing and challenged as an artist and is always inspiring.
Kelsi Hooper (she/her) is a Seattle based tattooer and illustrator. She loves practicing art that features natural elements; particularly plant and animal life, and the human form. Her designs are inspired by scientific illustration, magic, and the weird and whimsical. She strives to provide a safe and relaxed space during the tattoo process.
Thank you for your interest in my work. I offer many different services including intuitive guidance and mediumship readings, card readings, Auragraphs, Reiki healing sessions and combination packages from all of the above. These are services you can book on their own and also services I combine with my tattoo sessions.
All submissions will be responded to in the order received but not all submissions will be accepted. If we do not select a submission, we will try to refer you to a tattooer that is best suited to your subject matter. When filling out the submission form, please be as descriptive as possible. It is very helpful for us to know exactly what it is you're looking for.

I waited until I was well I'm my 40's to get my first tattoo and April Cornell and Altar Sacred Tattoo made it the best experience. I had an auragraph reading done first and then April turned it into a tattoo and I couldn't be more happy with the meaning, the beautiful work, and the comfortable, clean, and light atmosphere. I cannot wait for my next one.

April Cornell is one of the most incredible people you will ever meet. She puts her entire heart and soul into her clients, her artwork and her businesses. She is a true talent and I am so thankful I have so many beautiful tattoos created by her. Altar is a gem in the city. A true place of healing.
