Kris started Cloyd Financial Planning in 2010, after 25 years of financial planning at Successful Financial Strategies, Lincoln Financial Services, and IDS (now Ameriprise Financial). Kris became one of the first Certified Financial Planners (CFP) in the country in 1984, and has spent the more than 30 years dedicated to helping others with their financial planning.
Cloyd Financial Planning is an independently owned firm which enjoys the freedom to provide you with a solution that may meet your needs and goals. Our consultative approach dictates that we spend considerable time searching the landscape for partnerships, which allow us to offer our clients sophisticated strategies as part of a well-developed financial plan.
For many, retirement planning is their single most important financial goal. This is easy to understand when you consider that there are ways to borrow for essentially any other significant life event, but not retirement. In many cases, simply participating in an employer-sponsored retirement plan is not enough.

Kris is the best financial planner that I have met. He is professional, easy to deal with and I feel as the most knowledgeable to give advise according to circumstance. Multiple times I had received help from him in the areas from he had no benefit but simply willing to help. I have a feeling that there aren't many things he doesn't know about. I am a father of 3 daughters and Kris helped me start a college fund.
