We offer four divisions, including our renowned Children's Program, the exceptional Student Division, Open Dance & Fitness, and finally, customized Workshops. Learn more about each division below. This class, designed for our youngest students, focuses on fun movement, stories, music and imagination.
The Central Wisconsin School of Ballet is proud to offer a Reggio-Emilia inspired arts and movement class for children ages 1.5 to 5. Our program embraces children's natural curiosity and wonder to guide discovery and create meaning.
We believe children come to us as creative, capable, and intelligent individuals who express their competencies in a multitude of ways, and that the interdisciplinary nature of the arts allows children freedom of expression. It is our role to encourage and support our children's innate abilities to discover, learn, and create.

The purpose of arts education is not necessarily to create more professional dancers or artists. It's to create more complete human beings who are critical thinkers, who have curious minds, who can lead productive lives. It has been nearly 25 years since I last danced with the CWSB, but people still ask me if I practice ballet.
