At first I was disappointed I had to wait 15 minutes after the scheduled time of my appointment. I then experienced the lady doing the tests prior to the Dr. And she was very nice and did a good job. Then Dr. DIMMER came in and apologized for the delay. She was kind, patient and professional. I then looked at frames and Matt was very helpful and nice.
So, at 1st I was getting a bad 1st impression, but the Staff was really good and the experience was great.

I called in October 29 th to make an appointment for
My wife & I. I was struggling with the lady on the other end of the line to get an appointment set with dates. She suggested the day after thanksgiving and I started laughing and she hung up on me.
If this is the kinda crap you have to deal with over the phone, I can't imagine how poor the service is in person.
I will take my family's business elsewhere

We had an awful experience where my wife was offered expensive and, we later learned, unnecessary vision therapy. And in the process of this, she was unable to reach her eye doctor, who would disappear for days and weeks. We understand this trainwreck of a doctor is gone now, but we stopped going to Eye Associates altogether. Obviously. However, that didn't stop Eye Associates from contacting us, reminding us about coming in to use our insurance for eye exams. Asking to be removed from marketing lists resulted in nothing. Texts, emails and calls kept coming in. For a year. So... long story short

Been a patient there for almost 30 years for reasons like this...Scratched my eye Halloween night and they get me in the next day, then again the day after to follow up, and scheduled me 1st thing on Monday of the next week to see me again. Front desk staff comment I was the 4th or 5th ‘ASAP’ patient that first day. Pharmacy had a question on my Rx, and the doctor himself called them back immediately while we were still there to find a solution. I don’t think it gets better than this.

I have had great experiences at Eye Associates. I used to go there regularly for my eye appointments, however some specific medical needs forced me to move to the University. However, I miss their doctors, they are great and provide high quality care.
Eye Associates is also a great place to buy glasses. I appreciate that the staff really takes time to help you select frames that fit our face (some places will just tell you anything looks good). They also have a great selection of frames, one of the best in the area. The only downside is the cost, they are significantly more expensive than some

I had a terrible experience here. Short version: it took a long time, I didn't get what I came in for, and was charged for it.
Long version:
I came in, and it took 15 minutes to even talk to the front desk. Annoying, but understandable. I then proceeded to sit there for 30 more minutes before I hear the front desk people say they forgot to check someone in. That someone being me. Again, annoying but understandable. Up to this point, they could still have a 3-4 star review.
I have my eye exam, and everyone is nice enough, and seems to do a good job. Now, I wear both glasses and contacts

Really disgusted today with Eye Associates. They made a mistake on the amount due on my daughter's glasses, and instead of being accommodating on payment, they refused to dispense her glasses until payment was made in full. THEIR mistake. No leeway, no flexibility, nothing. Terrible customer service. I doubt we will ever go back there.
