St. Lawrence Seminary High School is located on 150+ acres in the rolling hills of central Wisconsin. The center of the campus is located atop a prominent "Hill" that serves as part of our challenging cross-country course. Eleven buildings fill the "Hill", from the traditional main building, Laurentianum, where the original St. Lawrence College met, to the beautiful, modern Chapel.
The Weekend Visit Experience is an opportunity for young Catholic boys to explore St. Lawrence Seminary as a prospective high school. This experience is open to current eighth, ninth and tenth grade students. The weekend traditionally runs Friday to Saturday with an option of staying through Sunday, it allows students to experience a residential high school life during the course of the school year.
It is our firm belief that a young man must be a good fit for St. Lawrence Seminary, and that St. Lawrence Seminary must be right for that young man before we will offer him an application. Our process for acceptance encourages deliberate steps of inquiry and discovery on both sides.

The Day of Discovery is an opportunity for early middle school aged boys to come discover St. Lawrence Seminary High School, meet the faculty and staff, and join in Sunday Mass. The Day of Discovery is an opportunity for St. Lawrence Seminary to share information about our school, to listen to your family's goals in choosing a high school, and to get to know the prospective student.
St. Lawrence Seminary was founded over 160 years ago by two Swiss diocesan priests, Fr. Francis Haas and Fr. Bonaventure Frey. Today, St. Lawrence Seminary has grown from a tiny institution with only a few students to a thriving school with over 170 students. I attended St Lawrence in 1975 to 1976 as a freshman.
I arrived with a large group of guys from Chicago’s Holy Angels school.
The things that I have learned and the friends that I have made at the Hill, still reside in me today and the foundation that St Lawrence gave me in that one year has taken me very far. Being a kid from the inner city and experiencing St Lawrence has helped me raise my family in the manner and the model that Christ has set for us.

It has been over 15 years since my departure from St. Lawrence. Looking back it was one of the most important parts of my education. I spent two of my four years attending, and it was amazing.

Being a kid from Chicago, not many options were given to me. But my father determined to give his son the best education did everything he could to send me here. Were it not for Saint Lawrence, I don't think I'd be half the man I am today. Saint Lawrence changed my life and I hope it changes yours as well. Go hilltoppers!!

Although it's been many years ago, I fondly remember St. Lawrence. My suggestion to any parent who has a child and you want a fantastic education, please look into having your son attend school year! If he doesn't make it to ordination, he will be a great "father".
