Marisa Visnaw is an accredited Cecchetti teacher with a broad background in Classical Ballet. She began her training as a young dancer with Glenna Bell Moening of Dance Art Studio, completing all Cecchetti grades with Certifications. Later, she continued her training with Denise Rinaldi (FCUSA, FCI, FISTD, & Executive Director of Cecchetti USA) to complete her teaching Certification.
A uniform dress code ensures that BASV teachers will be able to easily see students' alignment and positioning during class time. Graded leotard colors help the teacher to group by level in mixed grade rehearsals and classes. A dress code also imparts discipline and aids with overall focus, energy, peer acceptance, unity and cooperation while minimizing distractions and providing a unified look.
Dance It Up! is a mobile dance preschool program that comes to your school 1 day a week for 30 minutes. Our school is open for ages 2.5 - 6, teaching basic dance movements, rhythm, teamwork and beginning dance steps in ballet, jazz and tap. At this age, the exploration of music and body inspires the young students to express their emotions, work on coordination and find the love for dance through simple routines taught throughout the semester.
The class schedule is updated regularly to reflect the growth of the school and our adaptation to the various skill levels and needs of our student base. All classes will be held at our studio at 16165 Monterey Rd, Morgan Hill, CA, 95037. Multi-class discounts will be applied before any charges are made to your account.

We had tried a few dance studios in the area, but this was by far the best. We tried a school first that offered ballet, but it was just teens teaching a combo class & the school was centered around other styles of dance not classical ballet. Another school we tried out in the countryside was a very odd experience and I thought my daughter was going to quit her dream of dance after.
Gratefully, BASV was immediately inviting. The space was clean and cheerful plus the staff was genuinely friendly & helpful. Both of our children attending loved their classes and their teachers are clearly

I've been dancing for various studios for ~8 yrs, most recently with BASV, and they are amazing. I myself am not naturally flexible, being better with allegro than with adage, but the instructors at BASV, rather than demanding flexibility out of me that I cannot give, worked with my strength and refined my allegro while gently encouraging me to stretch every

We were looking for a studio that was more supportive than the typical studio. Ballet Academy of Silicon Valley far exceeded our needs. They are not only supportive in a positive way of our son but being in Ukrainian has been life changing. You get to start out as a beginner and grow with the class. The teacher really helps them learn as a group and encourages them to be inclusive and good citizens. It’s so rare to see this in a studio. Ukrainian dance has made my son stronger in body and mind. We are sooo happy. The community is so supportive and everyone is welcoming. Another bonus is that
