Top Notch Carpentry has done outstanding work for me over many years, most notably after our house was struck by huge trees: once in 2011 during a hurricane and again in 2018 during a macro-burst. In 2011 I called on Michael because of the excellent carpentry he had done for me before, and I was completely satisfied with his work. In 2018 he arrived quickly after an oak tree penetrated our roof. He minimized water damage with temporary repairs, then removed limbs and branches from the roof that were blocking our front door and garage, all of this in the rain. I recently hired Top Notch Carpentry & Remodeling to handle a variety of projects for my house, including rebuilding my porch, adding a new front and rear door, as well as, gutting, designing and creating a new finished basement for me. The work that this company did for my family and I was far superior to any carpentry or remodeling company we have used in the past. Their work is thorough, yet timely. Each project came out even better than we anticipated. The porch looks beautiful, the replacement doors give the house nice appeal, and the basement is now a room that our whole family wants to gather

I have owned several homes in my life time and undergone any number of extensive home remodeling projects. This was without doubt THE BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor! Mike and his team were hard-working, efficient and highly professional at all times. Mike did everything he said he was going to do, in all cases on time and on budget. He started the work the day he said the work would be started – and he completed the work two weeks later, the very day he said the work would be completed. He worked long hours to make it happen, in spite of inclement weather outside his control
